I was talking to an old friend of mine and this football game came up in conversation and god bless the internet (and I guess Al Gore???). It s on youtube. I was in attendance with my dad. If any of you old football heads are interested. It is a fun game Jason Elam's college debut in the Islands.

Iowa was ranked #9 in the country and went to Hawaii and got upset week 1. It was one of the bigger games in Hawaii football history since they were not the punching bag against the big boys (Big10) not even sure if the WAC was a thing yet. . Just moved to Hawaii from PA as a HS freshman. I found it interesting to find the game on youtube I was also quite a few beers and a few bowlfuls of soulful when I posted this at like 5 am.
