This is common practice in politics by politicians. To be surprised is surprising. This is never newsworthy unless there's an ulterior motive behind it. Like smearing (insert politicians name here) so that the individual(s) feel better about their shit existence and justifiies there choice for who would be the better (insert politicians name here) candidate to scam and rob the public.
