Barry Trotz resigns... How will this effect their bid to repeat? I do believe he was on his way out before winning the cup as they have their next coach already in waiting. The whole winning the cup thing screwed the FO's plans.

Trotz to the Isles...Orpik and Grubbauer go to the Avs for a second round pick. Not surprised, but this is a more aggressive move towards keeping that core together than I anticipated, and letting Trotz go shows a pretty ruthless FO.
Gotta say, even though we got pricey end of career Orpik, signing the Pylon paid off in the long run. That's a lot of minutes leaving.
