That's not new. He has been a writer on that show from the beginning:

Good for him. He was a decent player here, glad to see a football player actually having a career when they are done with playing.

Yeah, I didn't realize that.

But he was actually credited for this show (the script), so not just a contributor. And it was a pretty good episode.

The guy realized football was not the life for him, so he moved on with his life's work. It's not like he pulled a Vontae Davis or anything. Good for him.

Good ol' Socrates.

He had like 3-4 good years, was a starter on a SB team. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Don't understand the hate for him. Really had one bad play where I think Kemo or one of those replacement level OLinemen got blown up in the Super Bowl. Yeah his passion wasn't football, but he wasn't a distraction either. Good for him anyway.

Well that's all relative. Compared to the shitstorm goin on now w/ the Steelers, Socrates looks like a choir boy.
But at the time he said something like 9/11 was an inside job or something moronic. That was the time when he started w/ the fumbles because Mike Tomlin didn't notice a flaw in his running style that was begging for the football to be knocked out

But hey, Coach Details gots diss
