He apparently had speed and has been known to be a "one-man breakout." That sounds like a guy the Jackets should keep and not dump for the conditional pick. It's a no risk, possible reward move, and I like it.

Eh this is a nothing signing...a minor league deal

Cbus needed to clear some contracts so I think something is brewing with the Jackets: Bob or Panarin getting traded

Sad that, after they pretty much fleeced the Hawks on Saad for Panarin that the dude won't even re-sign with them. Though since they employed Marian Hossa, I can't feel any pity for them. Well, and they're the Blackhawks.

To me, the Jackets can eat a bunch of dicks. I hate Torts and Dubinski and Calvert when they employed him

That's the risk of trading for a guy with little term...there's a chance he doesn't like your team/city/etc and won't re-sign
