Maz. Living Legend. Greatest baseball moment, period. Fans will gather tomorrow at what is left of the legendary Forbes Field to honor Maz, and that 1960 team.

For my money it's the greatest Pittsburgh sports moment of all-time. Some will argue the Immaculate Reception, some the SB XLIII final drive. I say this one. God bless Maz and the '60 Bucs.

I agree. Only walk-off homer in Game 7 of WS.
Biggest Pittsburgh sports moment I never saw live. Because it was blacked out.

Last championship won by a Pittsburgh team in Pittsburgh.
And in such a dramatic fashion, by a player known more for his glove than his bat (although in that WS, he had a .960 OPS and two dingers).
