Turdio Brown Still Crazy
Re: Turdio Brown Still Crazy
You can look at his twitter feed and see when Rosenhaus calls him up and tells him what to text.
When you see the writing on the wall, you are in the toilet. -- Fred Sanford
Antonio Brown brought us a lot of joy & worked & played hard for the Steelers. I don't know if he's bipolar or if that hit by Burfict rattled his brain for good. Regardless, let's get over it. It's like an ex-wife after a bad divorce. We got something out of the split - not what we deserved but we weren't taken to the poor house. Life goes & we rebuild. We lost a superstar but now we have a new one - Minkah.TemporaryStill wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 5:14 amThe thing is, AB will ALWAYS BE A STEELER. How many clutch grabs did the guy have? How many years of jaw-dropping performance did the guy have with the Steelers? The Immaculate Extension... I mean, no matter how horrendously down the drain he swirls... no matter how pathetically self-absorbed he becomes, for many years he was the shining ace of our team. Yeah, he was a little weird, but we all have a few friends like that. I didn't quite see this happening...
Personally as a fan, I have to talk this AB thing out, or I might go crazy, too. Like it's actually psychologically difficult to match the present with the past. So, I'm glad you guys are here so I can wrestle with my feelings about this. Yeah, it's dumb to still think about AB, but I'm not sure if it's healthy that we all just hold it inside.
Yeah, fuck AB that gaslighting sonnova... oh man, I just feel guilty saying it.
That guy is a whole cocktail of crazy.

People arent over it because he lied and bashed Roth and walked all over AR2 to be released and set an awful precedent in doing so. Not to mention the millions his salary counts against this years salary cap for absolutely nothing in return.
too bad the NFL cant ban Drew Rosenhaus....he's about as bad as his client....

Meh. Now that he’s no longer our problem I’m rather enjoying and commenting on his meltdown. Hope it not only continues but escalates.
Been fun to watch.

Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 84 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.
As long as he is still a salary cap hit we should be able to bash the fucker relentlessly. Mild joy for all that $$
I think AB's very near future is $500 per game flag football merc.

That’ll be his day job. In the evenings he’ll smoke pole, toss salad, and bottom for rich guys.

Expect to keep hearing him while and pout.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, free agent WR Antonio Brown is not expected to play again this season.
Brown is slated to meet with league officials Thursday to address sexual misconduct allegations made by two accusers. Even if a team signs him (the Seahawks reportedly had interest prior to claiming Josh Gordon off waivers), Brown would likely be placed on the Commissioner's Exempt list until the NFL concludes its investigation, which may not wrap up until after the season. Further complicating matters, Brown has not turned over all evidence related to his case. Between the investigation, his ongoing lawsuit and Brown's pending grievances against both the Patriots and Raiders, AB has a lot to sort out before he gets back on the gridiron.

Just to be clear. The reason why AB isn’t having a good season with the Pats right now isn’t because he acted crazy or was lazy or caused trouble. He was featured in the offense in that one week and he looked good on the field. He was popular in the locker room in the short time he was there.
The reason AB doesn’t have a job right now is because of pending sexual assault allegations against him. Other teams have shown interest but nobody wants to deal with those types of questions from reporters. All the crazy tweets about Kraft, The Pats, the nfl came after he was cut and bitter. Bottom line, he is a raging narcissist, but he was willing to be a good soldier with the Pats until he was cut.

Thats a big assumption. The good soldier part. He was there 2 weeks.Stallworth16 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 5:32 pmJust to be clear. Had the Pats known he had those sexual assault allegations hanging over his head (and could they know he would stupidly text his accusers), the Pats never would have signed AB in the first place and he would not have ever set foot in the locker room.
Or, maybe they would have signed him had he given full disclosure. But he didn't and that got the team broadsided by the news. Either way, the way AB decided to handle those allegations certainly screwed him.
So, I would differ slightly from your account only in saying that AB's handling of the allegations and not just the fact of having them did AB no favors.

If it’s true that the Pats didn’t know, then I agree with you. That’s more Rosenhaus job to tell them since he negotiated the contract.
I seem to remember inappropriate or even threatening tweets from AB being the last straw in the Pats cutting him. It's not like he's a victim here.

I agree 100% he’s not a victim. I’m more making the point that his scam was complete with the Pats, until he got busted by the law.
Remember when all this was Ben’s fault?swissvale72 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 1:05 amAnd you asshats continue to give a fuck.....why??
Also, it seems like you expect him to be somehow less off his rocker...suggested by the title of this OP...some surprise that he's "still crazy?"
And I’m commenting because this mental midget has proven the Steelers organization deserves ZERO FUCKING BLAME in this imbecile’s downfall.
ZERO FUCKING BLAME, especially Ben Roethlisberger who took some serious shit from the media and a poster or two here, remember?

If only Ben hadn't said AB should have flattened his route against Denver, none of this would have happened.

Secure NHALS early and then go deep into the PLAYOFFS.

I think he is still getting money from the Patriots. But you are right money is probably getting tight.
Seems like they are getting closer to forming an offensive team. Kaepernick, Brown, Walter(RB) and Pouncey (for 3 games). Yikes, did I just lump poor Pouncey into a group of reprobates.

AB came to the realization that Kraft has more power over the NFL than he thought.
He's not playing this year, is my prediction.

The only way he's getting money from Kraft this year or any other is either lawsuit or dressing up in a geisha outfit and earning it. The uber-rich don't usually take well to insults, and they have ridiculously long memories.

He’s getting nothing from the Patriots...or anyone else. He’s filed grievances to try to get what he believes the Pats and Raiders owe him, but there’s no guarantee. Even if he does win those grievances, it could be months or years.I think he is still getting money from the Patriots. But you are right money is probably getting tight.
He’s broke and insignificant, and he can’t stand it.
