RE : who would you take. Davis in his prime or L Bell today. I just watched the NFL's a football life (most of it anyway) of Terrell Davis.

That's a tough call. TD was a beast, and was faster and more powerful than L Bell. The only thing Bell has on Davis is soft hands and route running. But as a pure running back, I'd take Davis. Blasphemy, I know.

We haven't seen Bells peak yet-- so it's tough to compare Bell's peak to Davis's peak.

But both were outstanding RBs.

Davis had a few years there where holding him to a 4 yard gain was like a miracle. Just impossible to stop.

i love Bell, but TD had a goddamn 2000yd season

of course he was better as a pure runner at his peak
