Porter arrested?
Outside of a bar in the back of a cop car? Guess reports are coming out since Ben's bootgate are slowing down.
Embarrassing if true. And obvious terrible timing.

It wouldn't matter if he was the only LB coach. You know the Rooneys will fire him unless he has an air tight, believable story that paints him as the victim. They give players very little rope. Coaches? No chance.

Steelers outside linebackers coach Joey Porter.

Steelers assistant coach and former player Joey Porter was taken into police custody after an altercation on the South Side tonight.
The incident began at 9:30 p.m. at The Flats on Carson at 1500 E. Carson St., a popular nightspot. According to eyewitness reports, Mr. Porter had been asked to leave the establishment several times and did not, and police were called to assist and the dispute went out on to the sidewalk.
Craig Johnston, of the South Side was walking home when the scene unfolded in front of him.
He said that Mr. Porter and a Pittsburgh Police officer had a verbal dispute, with Mr. Porter repeatedly saying “I didn’t put my hands on him.”
Mr. Johnston said that Mr. Porter was put in handcuffs and placed in a police vehicle without further incident. He was transported to the Allegheny County Jail. Police stopped traffic in both directions. The entire incident lasted about 10 minutes.
Pittsburgh Police spokeswoman Sonya Toler issued the following statement: “At approximately 9:30 p.m., security guards at a bar on the South Side summoned a Pittsburgh Police Officer due to an unruly customer. The customer was Pittsburgh Steelers Coach Joey Porter. He has been arrested. More information will be released later tonight.”
Just stupid. You'd think at his age he'd finally be mature enough to walk away from any situation like that before it escalated to an arrest.

These coaches do not live in their fears!
It's enough work to keep the players from fucking up. I'd not want a coach on my staff that caused those kinds of problems. Sorry Joey. Loved you as a player but you're not worth the trouble as a coach.
