Chargers tickets
Steelers v Chargers tickets are down to $175 (they were $240 or higher as of Sunday). I am keeping an eye out... if the price drops below $100, I'm getting interested in going.
Any fellow Los Angelenos interested in attending? The $175 seats are in row 2, behind the Steelers bench, so they're not the easiest place to watch a game from but fun, nonetheless.

I am still thinking about going. I think it will be mostly Steelers fans.

Last spring, my best buddy and both our extended families were considering renting out one of their "party patio" things at the stupid Chargers' Temp-Alt Field or whatever they're calling it, but the prices turned out to be pretty exorbitant (I think over $350 per person and a minimum # of guests guarantee) --- even higher than their prices last season. Definitely don't think either team has improved over last year, so everybody said screw it and we might just go to a local watering hole instead, or better yet, keep the broadcast of Tomlin's great strategery on the big screen in the family room while getting some of my important autumn chores done around the house

I’d rather drive down the street and watch 9ers vs Rams

I've been following Stub Hub. If they get to $100 I may just go.bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2019 7:16 pmSteelers v Chargers tickets are down to $175 (they were $240 or higher as of Sunday). I am keeping an eye out... if the price drops below $100, I'm getting interested in going.

Yep, they were going for way less money last year. You could get game day tickets for $30 or less, same as the Rams.franco>madden wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2019 8:07 pmLast spring, my best buddy and both our extended families were considering renting out one of their "party patio" things at the stupid Chargers' Temp-Alt Field or whatever they're calling it, but the prices turned out to be pretty exorbitant (I think over $350 per person and a minimum # of guests guarantee) --- even higher than their prices last season. Im seeing $200 on Stubhub. Anyone know another place to find seats?
Back in 05 I drove from northern cali to San Diego (7-8 hours) for MNF against the Chargers.
Have seen the the team in Oakland multiple times, SF, and even flown back to Pittsburgh to see them.
Could not pull the trigger on 49er tix this year and no way in hell I’d make the trip to SD.
Team is uninspiring and directionless. Poor leadership from the top down.
Dumb owner
Below the line coaches
Dumb and mediocre players
Pair that with seasoned vets that have played their own roll in this team’s demise and it all boils down to a solid reason to not spend money on them.
Particularly in an opposing teams stadium
Shame too as I planned for some time to go to the SF game.
It’s not the losses for me, it’s the dumb. And this team is dumb right now from the top to the bottom.
Time too limited & valuable to allocate to them. Better for me to just watch the game from home and then be able to turn it off as soon as it’s done and move on to more important priorities. No desire to fight CA traffic after paying a premium to witness my team play like and be coached by idiots.

I'd do it, even have relatives in San Diego area. Just can't get the time off work after beginning a new position [promotion] and the whole employment probation thing... Next Time.

More frustrating for me I think because I could take the time just don’t care to. Which is disappointing given my history with this team. A true love.

You guys know the Chargers don't play in San Diego anymore, right? They play in LA, in a soccer stadium that holds 27,000.

Doesn’t really change the convo however B2B
I do have to say that 05 game in SD was awesome. Tons of Steelers fans. Very rowdy pre & post game.
Was the game Ben tweaked a knee and at that point put a huge ? on the season.

On a side note sooooo dumb for the Chargers to move to LA where they have zero fan base.
They are the team that should have moved to Vegas. Not the Raiders.

Yes sir. But my closest relatives live in San Diego. So coincidentally that's where I'd have to stay if I went to this particular game event.bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 1:16 amYou guys know the Chargers don't play in San Diego anymore, right? If any of you are going to Dinky Doid stadium for the 1st time to see The Steelers - Chargers use the Chargers Express. FREE, safe, secure parking at Harbor Gateway Transit Center. FREE shuttle to Dinky Doid (10 minutes). I think they also run a shuttle out of Del Amo. Really organized. Can't be beat.

$204 is the lowest price I'm seeing right now. Before the assrape fees. Anyone know of a place with better prices?

I did a comparison before I listed a few of my season tickets. NFL Ticket exchange varies but the fees are usually, not always, lower than Stubhub on the buyers end. However they both suck..

Craigslist has a couple for $150, but IDK how safe the transaction is without knowing the detailsmeanjustinbarlow wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 10:34 pmhttps://www.stubhub.com/los-angeles-cha ... 52f4bf0250

I THINK ???? there is an app you can scan tix to see if they are real ?? .....clist is the way to go if they will meet you at a public place and let you scan the tix before buying......that $150 will be less than 100 on game day....perhaps much lessbradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 11:26 pmCraigslist has a couple for $150, but IDK how safe the transaction is without knowing the detailsmeanjustinbarlow wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 10:34 pmhttps://www.stubhub.com/los-angeles-cha ... 52f4bf0250

Tinker Toy stadium is NEVER full. I don't know when the cut off is for stubhub and NFL Ticket Exchange is but everything is mobile. NO paper tickets. for Chargers games. I'd get there early and stand around outside with your cell in hand and shop for tickets. Not a bad seat in the house. For a great view of the field I'd go sidelines row F and up in the lower section. Even row Z is close . Hard to go wrong at Dignity..Message me if you have any questions about the joint.

I have seats row H at the 15 yard line. My son has seats row V on the other 15 yard line. I actually like the view from his seats as well as I do from ours. Both have their pluses. The best modern day small venue to see an NFL game ever. It will never happen again. And the Chargers? Have no fear SD fans. They will be returning to SD someday with their tails between their legs. They can't even fill seats at a 27,000 capacity soccer stadium. Even last year! The new stadium will look empty.
Go Steelers!

Do you think the prices will really go down at the stadium? I was thinking of going but the lowest price I see is about $250 each. I really don't want to spend more than $80.
I love this team, but $350 for a regular season game, when they are 1-4... I mean... that's pretty steep. Then the awful drive home....
But at $80, I'll get on the 405.
