The Steelers are back. The Steelers Score Game is back.
Maybe one more year.........
I hate this game. I am terrible at this game. I do not have time to run this game.
But this is a great web site and great Steeler fans.
I know many here like playing this game.
And I like you folks a hell of a lot better than I like running this game.....LOL.
So I find time to run this game.
Lets run this game right to the end......to the Pittsburgh Steelers hoisting #7.

The game is the same, the rules are the same.
Predict the winner of the Steeler game each week and predict the score.
1. Pick the winner of the Steelers game each week. If you pick the winning team, the Steelers or their opponent, you get 10 points.
2. You can also score up to an additional 20 points based on the how close you came to the actual score of the game and the actual score of each team.
3. The perfect score for the week would be 30 points. If you pick the winning team (10 points) the correct Steeler score (10 points) and the correct opponents score (10 points).......one would score 30 points.
4. There are weekly winners....bragging rights.
5. There is a running total, as your weekly scores are accumulated.
6. There will be a 2019 Steelers Score Game Champion based on the most total points scored by each player, up to and including the playoffs and a Steeler Super Bowl victory.
7.The game is much more simple than the 6 rules above.
Example of how the game is played:
You predict that the Steelers will beat New England on Thursday Night 45-38. (if the Steelers actually win 45-38, your score is perfect, 30 points)
If the Steelers actually win 42-35, your score would be 24 points.
1. You score 10 points for picking the winning team, the Steelers. = 10 POINTS
2. You score 7 points for coming with-in 3 points of the correct Steeler score.
3. You score 7 points for coming with-in 3 points of the Patriots score.
You score 24 points for the week.
Now if the Steelers won 36-29......:
1. You score 10 points for picking the winning team, the Steelers. = 10 POINTS
2. You score 1 point for coming with-in 9 point of the correct Steeler score.
3. You score 1 point for coming with-in 9 point of the Patriots score.
You score 12 points for the week.
There is another example.........and since it makes for a most miserable task for me to calculate all the scores, i will not give an example of a Steeler loss. LOL.
8. You can pick the Steelers to loose.
9. I try and post the results as soon as I can....hopefully by Monday after a Sunday game.
10. I will make a second post for the next weeks prediction thread soon after the results thread.
11. You can always PM me if you need to make a prediction before i post the nexts weeks thread. I will paste your PM into the prediction thread.
12. If you think your score total is different than what i totalled for your score....please PM me.........
13. If you miss getting your prediction in one week.............keep picking, in years past.......with good predictions, we've had some players almost catch up.......and some still wound up in the top 10.
14. You can change your score........
15. Get your picks in at least an hour before kick-off.....to play it safe.
16. I can not lock the thread once kick-off starts. Please do not make predictions after the game starts.
17. Save ridiculous scores and back and forth banter for other threads.....as it just makes my task of going thru and totaling scores longer. And I usually ignore ridiculous score, i.e. 76-2, 3-2
18. No Cheating, even if we are playing the Patriots
I think i've run this game for the last 10 years now..........as i Know its a simple game and a lot of you folks enjoy it.
