Cole is 1-1 with a 1.93 ERA against St. Louis in his last two starts. Facing Lance Lynn.
My questions, just to stir some more shit ?

Cole is up 3-2 after 6 innings on 85 pitches -- Does Hurdle stay with Cole or go to Huey to get him back on the horse?
Cole is up 3-2 after 7 innings on 95 pitches -- Does Hurdle stay with Cole or go to Watson?

Either case, I think Cole gets yanked. Almost no scenario where Cole would go 9 innings so I won't bother with that nonsense.

That was my point last night and again tonight -- Not that Cole would get hosed, although he sure did, and will again, and again, and again.....
At some point I fully expect Cole to kick Clint Hurdle in the nuts.

No, my point was that, yet again, Hurdle would put his full faith in the very "hot puke pen" that you so eloquently have labeled.
If Hurdle had trusted Cole, and Cole had lost the game, Hurdle would have had to answer for going with his gut.
