A few of us having been making that joke....it's like 5% based on the fact they never said what the injury was or the surgical procedure performed, 94% wishful thinking, and 1% that it's really weird to grow a playoff beard when you're on season IR....StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 1:52 am1st time I’ve heard anyone mention a Ben return in January...
They were very coy about what surgery he had exactly. It could be 8 months or more it could be (and this is the shortest time frame I've heard) 14 weeks. The only thing published was that he did not have Tommy John surgery, which has one of the longer recovery times.StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 1:52 am1st time I’ve heard anyone mention a Ben return in January, I’ve wondered to myself is that something that would be possible with the return from I/R rules, also wonder how long expected recovery from the surgery he had is. Obviously when he first had the surgery they said he was done for the year, but what if we make a deep playoff run, would he or could he come back?
I think the beard makes total sense for a guy who can't use his right arm. He could go and get it shaved off, but I'm betting he won't shave his own face until he's good and healed.Kodiak wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 2:37 amA few of us having been making that joke....it's like 5% based on the fact they never said what the injury was or the surgical procedure performed, 94% wishful thinking, and 1% that it's really weird to grow a playoff beard when you're on season IR....StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 1:52 am1st time I’ve heard anyone mention a Ben return in January...
But if Ben showed up to practice tomorrow, would 4 weeks be enough time to get the rhythm and timing down to start a WC game?
C'MON!!!! He could use an electric razer, and you know his wife hates that thing....bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 2:41 amI think the beard makes total sense for a guy who can't use his right arm.
Pardon me, but is it actually possible (NFL League Rules) that Ben could come back if healthy?StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 2:44 amHe was seen getting some cardio in yesterday before the game, hmmmmmm.
Ok, this is promising, if TOMLIN is keeping his mouth shut and the Steelers are behind this color me impressed, that’s some possible cool news
He’s a hunter...deer hunter. Most deer hunters grow em for a little extra warmth during the season. It gets cold sitting hours in those blinds and tree stands.Kodiak wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 2:44 amC'MON!!!!
