I am glad the Steelers have stability in HC and not a revolving door like several bottom teams have.

Maybe a clear benchmark should be set and if it is not achieved then move on. But if you are not going to move on from last year's debacle then you certainly do not move on from this years performance. He is not COTY but he did hold this team together under trying circumstances.

If it weren't for the drama, I'd be down for that.

OBJ is a diva. I'd take Nick Chubb or Myles Garrett though.

The results have been the same for 10 years... I think its time for a change. The difference this year was Ben. With Ben gone there was never any hope of this team exceeding anyone's expectations. Especially those of an owner that believes winning the division is most important. They finished second in the division... so close!!!

 I was just going to post, then how about Nick Chubb.
Now Myles Garret would be both fun and interesting...

I hope the Browns don't hire Fat Mike McCarthy. He stinks.

He'll make Tomlin look good and we'll be stuck with Jibba for another three seasons.

Why would you fire Rivera and then hire Kitchens?

You have to be related to Dumblin.

Have to be.

First they had to cancel the Super Bowl parade and now fire the coach. Rough year. Wonder if they'll be picked to win the division next year too?
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

I wonder what we can get in a trade with Fox - Tomlin for Cowher?

Seriously. Cowher should be coaching and Jibba should be cracking jokes with Strahan (and, yes, I know I mixed networks).

1969 - 2019.

Nice even number.
I like the way the last number of each of those 4 digits ends with a 9.

Time to move on.

but of course the excuse/reason is built in.

We have the same exact outcome with nothing to show for it. 8-8 it must feel great!!

When I think about how frustrating it gets to watch the Steelers change SSOOO SLOOOOWLY I think about the Browns

Beat the Bills

Split with the Steelers Gals and Rats

Only really had 3-4 bad games all year

Have assembled a solid group of talented players

Coinflip chance they catch the Steelers in a downtrend if they just stay the course....If Lamar Jackson gets injured at least a punchers chance of overtaking the rats.....

Now .....they are gonna start all over.....again....

Good talented but not God like players like Mayfield Hubbard Schobert will be pointed at as the reason the new HC isnt winning.....they will be scrapped and others will fall out of favor/get fed up/move on....

The new coach will talk about needing time to build a "good" roster and he will get it.....because Kitchens didnt and management will start 2nd guessing having a quick trigger.....

Whatever you think about Freddie Kitchens.....Firing a HC after one year means management has no plan and just follows the wind....
