Lines should be the same, I would guess Murray gets the start.

Wow what a shit goal there.
Murray needs to go next season, no question whatsoever.

Doesn’t help that Johnson’s fat ass was in the way, but Murray is just so slow side to side these days.

I agree about Murray's quickness being diminished but you can't be upset with his tendng the past month plus. Some of his best hockey in a long while.
I would rather see anyone else but McCann with Malkin.
Time for Rust to go on a goal scoring streak.

Hockey is a funny sport, especially period to period.
In the first the Pens were standing around in their own end and the Wings had half a dozen great scoring chances. Now, in the second, the Pens have dominated the OZ and have been much better in their own end.
Horny having the game of the his season today.
5-1

This exactly. Going forward into the playoffs the pens can’t start slow, not against contending teams.fractalsteel wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 6:57 pmHockey is a funny sport, especially period to period.

I have to say, this B squad that NBC has doing the Pens game is far and away better than A squad.
Instead of focusing on a few top players they are offering analysis on nearly every player.
They call a better game as well.

He's been skating at practice in the non-contact jersey since before the 13th or 14th. Bjugstad is also practicing. They're probably both close. No word on Doumolin.fractalsteel wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 2:16 pmLines should be the same, I would guess Murray gets the start.

Still thinking we're looking at a depth defenseman at the deadline as Dumo insurance.
Good news about the other two.

And, man Hornqvist-Lefferts-Agozzino = hot fire of manliness as a 4th line. Man, the 3rd/4th lines of the Wings were totally overmatched.

I thought all the lines for the Pens played well.bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2020 6:02 pmAnd, man Hornqvist-Lefferts-Agozzino = hot fire of manliness as a 4th line. Man, the 3rd/4th lines of the Wings were totally overmatched.
It is weird, Detroit has played the better teams in the league well recently and they have been as banged up as the Pens but they just don't have a Crosby or Malkin, yet.
They have added talent recently and they might be playing for a chance at either Lafreniere or Byfield.
Checkout Byfield:
