I only started watching recently. I've seen them go 2-6, about to be 2-7. I'm getting tired of watching them lose. The craps are making them look like they suck.

The issue about motivation is really irritating me. I think Sullivan is a great hockey coach, but I just don’t think we can continue to ignore these dreadful starts. And here, it’s a home game against the Caps, and we come out this flat?

That’s eventually going to make Sully’s seat hot whether we like it or not.

Yeah, the Caps have been the worst defensive team in the league since the beginning of February. Giving up something like 3.5 goals a game.

I think the Caps are in the Pens heads.
The slow start and they got behind then the cautious play which backfires most of the time. The aggression isn't there but the dumb fuckery sure is.

I thought Hornqvist and Marino came to play.

And is it me, or are our defensemen really bad at hitting the net with their shots. I think I’ve seen every defensemen miss the net by a wide margin today. That last shot by Letang wasn’t even remotely close.

Correct. 13 shots through 2 periods. There is absolutely nothing redeeming about this game.

Another thing really irritating is this game reminds me of how good Tom Wilson is. He’s a cheap bastard and I can’t stand the guy, but he’s an excellent hockey player. We need a guy like that.

From all reports recently the Caps have been sloppy but today they have smothered the Pens. Give credit to them.

I hate to single one guy but Letang has handled the puck today like it is a grenade. He isn't an elite passer but he looks like Mr Magoo after two.
