Well, that shores up a need position before the draft. Compared to what Hooper got, it's a bargain.

Didn't he pull a pussy move in Indy last season and the GM called him out for it publicly?

Ebron and MCdonald. Tape them together and you have one good healthy TE. Very surprised they kept MCDonald and signed Ebron.
Redskins Draft:
Marvin Harrison, Jr., WR, Ohio State
Patrick Paul OT Houston
Jordan Morgan OT Arizona
Ja'Tavion Sanders, TE, Texas
TJ Tampa, CB, Iowa State
Trevin Wallace LB Kentucky
Bucky Irving RB Oregon
Jordan Travis QB FSU

Also, Ebron's no blocker from what I remember of him. He's more of a wideout masquerading as a TE.

Do they still keep McDonald?

Two dogs, one bone? Keep in mind, his contract is only a million more a year than what Turdy Red got from the Bills

I love this move. Ben to Enron is going to be a deadly combo. And with the news that Ben is feeling like he’s young again post-op, what a wonderful Steelers Friday this has been.

Well played!

McDonald, Vannet, Gentry, and now Ebron.

How many TE's do the steelers usually carry?

Probably means UFA Vannet is out.

Ebron is on his 3rd team already. Drafting Albert Okwuegbunam is about the same. Great athlete with very suspect hands.

Grimble was released last October and signed with the Colts in December.

I'm a Mizzou fan and have watched this guy for 3 years - I want no part of him on the Steelers. His issues go way beyond hands.

With McDonald and Gentry we had the worst TE group in the NFL. Ebron is far from perfect but he's a huge upgrade over Gentry's worthless ass.

Steelers doing what they do: shoring up the roster before the draft.

Thus the comparison. Great athlete. Not a football player. Ebron will break some hearts with his drops

Oh, I understand, I'm just letting it be know - Okwuegbunam is a pussy and he can't run a route to save his life. Damn near all of his college production came against the likes of Idaho, Memphis, UConn, Arkansas, and Vandy.

He had exactly 3 TDs in conference play in 2018 and 2019 combined, one of which came against Vanderbilt.

A push signing for McDonald to shit or get off the pot. An upgrade to Vanett. Not a bad signing for a cash strapped team, in a poor TE class draft with very minimal picks. It's a move and a good one in that sense.

McDonald
Ebron
The Rugby Player- Christian Scotland-Williamson
Gentry

I think CSW makes the 53 last year, until he got hurt. And Gentry shoulda went to the PS. Another duo to push each other and may the best man win.

PLUS, No waste of a reach or draft pick needed.

What exactly has Christian Scotland-Williamson done to merit a roster spot?

McDonald, Ebron, Gentry, Vannett ( If he is still in the mix? )
A new FB in Watt.
a bit of reshuffling on the OL..........with a new man / change of position in at LG ( Feiler ) next man up at RT in Oks or Banner.
38 year old Ben coming back off arm surgury.
the youth and learning curve at the WR spot...............JuJu, Washington, Johnson, Switzer, Moncrief, Cain, Tevon Jones, Holton......
alot of shuffling of RB's last year........Connor, Samuels, Snell, Edmunds, Whyte

I think this team probably will be putting an emphasis on protecting the QB and running the football.
