I see it as 1-1.

Just want to say that I am enjoying the back and forth of this topic. I know politics is normally prohibited but in this time it is vital not to quash these ideas. This thread is about our life and how we are managing. It involves what is being done by politicians that were elected by us to manage this country. We have a media that is at odds with the truth at times. In some cases it is a propaganda machine to protect those in office. It is important to this football family to be allowed to run ideas and insults by us. We are adults. We can take the truth! Let us filter it.
Where is anybody seeing Fox (I'd never call them "news") is rated higher for accuracy than CNN?

The Fox News people ( who actually do the news) are quite good. Their opinion people ( Hannity, Fox and Friends, ect) are a propaganda arm of the White House. No different than MSNBC. News good. Opinion very slanted.
The problem that has started on Fox News is that the news people have been ordered to report the news only in certain light. That is why Shep Smith retired after 23 years on Fox News

There is not 1 Canadian based broadcaster remotely similar to FAUX, because the populace would not support or tolerate it to the point that it could survive. Getting back to this subject please watch the video below I know you probably have already as it outlines the incredible hypocrisy of the mouth-breathing knuckledraggers who are on air at FAUX. 1 day is its no big deal hey everybody carry on dont worry, take a flight, hey you can now get into your favourite restaurants, to we must take this seriously, its dangerous.Pabst wrote: ↑Tue Mar 24, 2020 12:09 amWe're 2 for 2 on repeating bogus internet rumors about Foxstinger8 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 11:20 pmFox tried to get a license to broadcast in Canada, the government did their due diligence and told Fox to GET FUCKED no propaganda allowed.CORE-TEN wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 7:27 pmYou wouldn't know *unbiased* if it bit you in the ass.
I never said cnn isn't biased. Or MSNBC for that matter. But to say those are the same as fox is lunacy. The Australian Gov told the FCC that murdoch was a cancer, and shouldn't give him an FCC license. Because he engages in yellow journalism and lies. Purposefully to manipulate public opinion. But he generates cash, so it's all good.
Keep living in your bubble.

Did you ever see this on another network? Did CNN do this ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC??? Nope. You know Orange Foolious sent over the directive to protect his incredible economy

The irony here is that I don't watch Fox at all. All I've done is point out that 2 statements made about the network were factually incorrect.
I really enjoy seeing people lose their shit when you point out their preconceived assumptions are wrong.

Fox in the afternoon is actually pretty good. The straight news people. A study about 12 or 18 months in showed the straight Fox programming was 52% negative on Trump, while it had been 38% negative on Obama. The other networks, meanwhile, were more like 90-95% negative on Trump vs. about 18% on Obama.
The morning and primetime shows are a right-wing versions of what CNN used to be. CNN today is at war with Trump, and their credibility and "journalism" is circling the toilet.

Let me get this straight: CNN is "at war" with a Reality TV star and 6 times bankrupted businessman (who's daddy gave him 413 million bucks to get started) that has verifiably lied over 16,000 times since he took office, had to pay 25 million dollars in restitution for fraud after he created a fake, for profit university and stole from his own charitable foundation (which no longer exists, wanna guess why?) and had to pay 2 million for that little bout with corruption. A guy who has had illegals working in his hotels and resorts for decades (I live in South Florida so please don't attempt to bullshit me on this one) but pretends to be against illegal immigration. A guy who cheated on every one of his wives and girlfriends and even paid off a porn star (who laughed and made fun of his shrimp dick ) right before the 2016 election so that the American people had no idea it went on.Kodiak wrote: ↑Tue Mar 24, 2020 3:09 pmFox in the afternoon is actually pretty good. Oh and let me add, before anybody tries to label me as a Republican hater, I had EVERY INTENTION of voting Republican in the 2016 election, if someone with a working brain like John Kasich of Jeb Bush would have gotten the nomination. I did not like Hillary one bit. She was a terrible candidate and while I'm no Bernie fan, she helped screw him out of the nomination.
...but....the very fucking second I learned that this fat orange criminal piece of shit got the Republican nomination, I ran to the polls to vote for Hillary.
As fast as I could.

Sick burn.
Donnie got elected despite getting 3 million fewer votes that the widely disliked Hillary Clinton.
Bernie supporters either stayed home, voted for somebody like Jill Stein or some were so pissed, they voted for the fat orange bumbling stooge just to show Ol' Hillary.
Well, they sure showed her.
What happens this November with the Independents and Bernie supporters will be the key. We'll find out if they believe Fat Donnie is doing a bang up job.

The people should decide who wins. If the most people live on the east and west coast, so be it.
You do realize trump said in 2016 (and before) the elections were rigged, and the electoral college should be abolished. And then he won, and said that the electoral college is great, and shouldn't be dissolved. I think the point being made is that conservatives keep saying the people spoke, and chose conservatism. Well, they did. And it was three million more votes for clinton.
Further, why should a sparsely populated area have the same amount of power to choose the president as densely populated areas? I've heard this complaint before. That the coasts shouldn't be choosing a president. Well, then why should 10 people in buttfuck idaho decide? This is not representation. So far, it's minority rule. That much is undisputed. It's like business. Don't get a fair market share? Too bad.

Fox and the president downplayed the virus, and in the early stages actually said dems were using it as a way to criticize the president because he didn't recognize the seriousness and waited a month to act. Because he did. Wait, and suggest it's no big deal. He's lied about all kinds of shit. The orange one knows how to use language to manipulate, and using the term "hoax" falls in line with that strategy. That way he can actually call the virus a hoax and then pull back and say nah, it's a dem hoax. The same as : no meetings with russians. Well, ok, meetings but it was about babies. Ok. No. It was about oppo research.
I think most everybody knows that fox sows divisiveness and demonizes liberals, spreading misinformation and conspiracy theories. Seth Rich anybody? I don't see CNN doing that. But it astounds me that people actually think fox is a legitimate news source, on par with anybody else. Fox's business model is to create conflict and division. It's dumbfounding how people can't see this. They are the ones that created this us vs them dynamic. And I'm not endorsing CNN. There is no whataboutism and false equivalencies.

He deserves *some* credit for how nicely things were going. Things were rocketing up quite nicely before he was elected in any case.
Do we HAVE to continue this thread?
Let's talk about something else. Like jeans or prostate stimulators.
I'm in the market for one of these items.

Oh sweetheart, dumbfuck Donnie is always taking credit for the stock market.
He owns this now, too. Sorry.

Fired the Pandemic Response Team Obama had in place to locate and make preparations for diseases EXACTLY LIKE Coronavirus.

Economy is sound. It will bounce back unless Biden wins in November. Then it's fucked. Were you whining with the others when he stopped air travel from China? Trump could not have done a damn thing different a month ago to save the markets. I know your TDS tells you otherwise.
