If you love the player, I get it—but I’m here to tell you the drop off in offensive output and efficiency and scoring from RB at pick 49 and at pick 149 is minimal. It’s buying name brand for an item that isn’t significantly better than the one you can buy wholesale.Greeksteel wrote: ↑Tue Mar 24, 2020 6:25 pmagreed but if i really like a rb in the 2nd rnd..not sure id risk losing him because id rather take him 40 spots later but again point taken in general and for sure for 1st rnd rbsbradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Tue Mar 24, 2020 4:33 pmWillie Parker was the defacto starter in 2005... but that's my point: you have to go back a long way to find a top 50 RB who put a great QB over the top.Greeksteel wrote: ↑Tue Mar 24, 2020 3:49 pmnot saying ure completely wrong but bal with pick 55 and pittsburgh in 2005 (2nd and a 4th) contradict this argument

I’m at work and currently have no Internet so I’m stuck using my phone. anyone know if the available prospect list is updated? I have 2 picks coming up.
The Packers are looking to move up into the 113 - 118 pick range.
My 136 and 175 picks are on the table.
Any takers?

A couple of reminders:
1. Don't forget that we are trying for a 1 hour maximum clock on rounds 4-7. Things are going to move quickly, so please check-in frequently if possible.
2. There is a SteelerFury chat group on GroupMe. Message or call me if you can't figure out how to make that work. You can even start a private chat another GM there... click on the photo in the upper right corner, select "Members", select the person you want to chat with. You send them a message and then the replies will show up immediately in the chat.
3. I can always help determine if a player is available or help facilitate a trade conversation.
Doing great this week, guys... happy picking!

Bredeson is a nice pick. It was between him and Jonah Jackson with my last pick. Had to go Buckeye

Nice pick on Evans. Nice well rounded RB who the Steelers can use as a bell cow in spurts if needed.

Thanks. I think he works as a committee guy or change of pace or he can take over as a replacement starter and be used to the volume.

I’ve seen them both and looked into them. Both great testers. I would say the value for either depend on how you want to use them. They are somewhat role-specific. If you want to PM me I can tell you what to look at and so on.

Why make ONE stupid 5th Round pick when you can make THREE savvy 6th Round picks?
Five out of four NFL GMs agree: Three is a bigger number than one.
Fuck you and your “Trade Value Chart.” It’s a scam. Any GM worth his salt knows this.

Raiders are fresh out of picks. Pleasure as always fellas. Thanks for running things as always B2B. This was a much needed distraction to the boredom that is online teaching. Stay safe and healthy, SteelerFury
Raiders Final Draft:
1.) Javon Kinlaw DT South Carolina – BPA but also a much needed centerpiece for the Vegas Defense
1) Denzel Mims WR Baylor- I chose the Raiders just so I could draft my guy Jerry Jeudy. Then Kinlaw caused me to change course. Mims a “Fast Riser” and SPARQ marvel who excels at the difficult grab. Tyrell Williams and Hunter Renfrow just ain’t gonna cut it sans AB.
3) Marlon Davidson DL Auburn- Had my finger on a couple pass rushers but again BPA won out. First Freshman DL to start on the plains since 1985 will be a versatile chess piece along with young studs like Clelin Ferrell, Maxx Crosby, PJ Hall, and my guy Kinlaw.
3) Antonio Gandy-Golden WR Liberty- I liked at least 5 WR’s at this spot but AGG another big play waiting to happen. Will offer some highlight reel catches the fans of Vegas will dig.
3) Jordyn Brooks LB Texas Tech- Solid player but was really just filling a need here. I wanted Malik Harrison but missed by a mile. This linebacker class kinda sucks. Corey Littleton a nice signing by Mayock but he needs help.
4) Ben Bredeson OG Michigan- Had John Simpson, Damien Lewis, Jonah Jackson all lumped in to fill my left guard opening. scUM always a last resort but I dig high character, highly decorated Big 10 linemen so I’m fine with the pick.
4) Geno Stone S Iowa- A pet pick that happened to fill a need with last years 1st round pick Jonathan Abram missing the season with a shoulder injury. Anyway, I always seem to catch Iowa/Penn St games and Stone played a helluva ballgame. Perhaps because being a New Castle native he was snubbed by PSU.
4) Reggie Robinson CB Tulsa- 6’1 202 corners that run 4.44 and vert 41 don’t grow on trees. I was torn between my Senior Bowl sleeper and my combine sleeper Lajarius Sneed (google this kid. 4.38 41 ver 10.9 broad). Mayock missed on Byron Jones and Chris Harris before settling on Jag Eli Apple.
5) Lamical Perine RB Florida- So underrated. Day 3 steal. My guy Josh Jacobs was a homerun pick by Mayock last year but depth is needed.

Just a heads up: had a deal worked out with ol skool if the guy he wanted was still available at my pick. If I don't hear back from him by 10 I'll go ahead and pick.
EDIT: the pick is in.

Sorry for the delay. My Governor's press conference is going on now, and that's become my Steelers game kind of can't-miss-TV.
I'm considering the trade offers and whether to pick.
