95 beat me to it. Lots of overhead to produce that revenue ie paying security, parking attendants, insurance requirements, etc. That's not all profit.

With TV it's virtually all profit- just make sure you have electricity and ensure the cameramen are being fed lunch 8 times a year. lol

I don't, and didn't say it was profit. It clearly states "revenue." The article goes on to say that operating costs for the NFL aren't exactly peanuts, so margins aren't what we think they are based on a $12 Billion industry.

I just did a quick search and I couldn't find anywhere that CK publicly said that he still wants to play. If he is really interested in playing in the NFL again why wouldn't he post videos of himself working out, throwing, etc. I think the guy is done playing and someone is keeping his name out there to remain relevant to continue to get money from Nike and others. Taking all of the political bullshit out of it I don't think he would be a good fit for the Steelers even if he agreed to come in as a backup. He is 32 and the Steelers don't run anything like the read-option type offense he excelled in at SF. I don't think he could run the "Ben offense" better than Duck or Mason. If he is willing to be a backup he'd fit much better in Baltimore, KC or Seattle. JMO
