We were informed this morning that Head Coach Kevin Stefanski, two additional members of the coaching staff and two players have tested positive for COVID-19.
Our contingency planning calls for Special Teams Coordinator Mike Priefer to serve as the acting Head Coach.
If that were Harbaugh he would squeal like a pig to get the game rescheduled.
The show must go on...

Why won’t they name the players?!?
Holy shit when Haden texted positive it was front page news on just about every digital sports app on my phone.

See you Sunday night bitches.

one tranny hooker living on the shores of lake Erie gets COVID and now the Browns have an excuse for getting embarrassed by the Steelers yet again.

As a Browns hater, I still hope all involved get well. I can just see this shit breaking out on our team after two weeks and two games against these guys. What a season.
My fear also...BouldernBun wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 4:37 pmAs a Browns hater, I still hope all involved get well. I can just see this shit breaking out on our team after two weeks and two games against these guys. What a season.
Trying not to live in my fears though

Anyone consider the fact Bitonio was prob positive during the game?
He is in close contact w our dline, our LBers
Pray that he and Hodge and whoever else may have had it didn’t transmit it to any of our players.
I wouldn’t get too happy about the Browns situation so early in the week.
We could be fucked also.

Don't think anyones happy or upset, just stating whats going on, at least those are my feelings..Bitonio is a big loss however you slice it tho, same with Stefanski as he is the primary play caller

Stefanski was pretty chummy with Tomlin during pregame. He actually touched Tomlin on his shoulder which I thought seemed weird when it happened in pregame because of their age differences. Facemask dropped below his nose too.
Luckily Tomlin was not indoors!

Again...thus far, there have been zero confirmed cases of transmission during a game.Jizz Mop wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 5:38 pmAnyone consider the fact Bitonio was prob positive during the game?

That doesn’t mean it didn’t happen or couldn’t happen...but it hasn’t been detected happening yet.

In all the games that have been played at the high school, college, and NFL level, there has yet to be a documented case of COVID transmission during a game.
Btw, Browns fans are arguing that Steelers D-Lineman should be considered close contacts and barred from playing Sunday.....apparently not realizing that standard would DQ the entire Browns offense.

If it is a serious outbreak, the NFL COULD push the entire playoffs back a week and still have the SB on the same day.

Oh so now were able to identify when and where Covid was contracted?
I find it hard to believe you can prove where it was contracted in any given situation.

To me, all this does is even things back out given we play each weak without a competent play caller.same with Stefanski as he is the primary play caller
Taking it further, maybe the substitute HC the Browns field will be as mentally challenged as our HC when it comes to the high level calculus involved in determining when to call a time out.
Oh...I see what you did there! To me, all this does is even things back out given we play each WEAK without a competent play caller.
Not on purpose but it fits...

A bunch of dudes squirming around on the ground in a pile breathing and spitting on each other doesn’t transmit Covid but sitting in a restaurant does. Even one outside.
Didn’t you know that?

Not wishing the covid on anybody but the Browns are the Browns.
Shit craps on the stains.
How would the Steelers fair if the situation were reversed and Tomlin were absent.
Make Ben both Quarterback and temporary head coach. Would then be overseeing Randy's playcalling.
And in charge of misusing timeouts. (/sacrafont)

We always come out flatter than a deflated balloon to start games anyways. So no different.
Yes of course.
My wife and I were out to dinner the other night. I pulled out my measuring tape because it seemed the table of 4 next to us was within my 6’ protective orb. Sure enough they were 63” from us. I asked to be moved to a table 72” from the next closest so I’d know we were safe.

As long as your seats weren’t in a rose garden you should be safe. We definitely know rose gardens spread viruses!Jizz Mop wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 6:24 pmYes of course.

I just hope all this exposure to the Browns doesn’t infect our roster.
The Browns players probably caught the COVID in their Monday night game against Baltimore a few weeks ago. Everyone in Ohio knows that the Covid attacks after 10 pm...just ask our illustrious governor.

I certainly hope they don't push the entire playoffs over the Browns.
Doesn't seem like this is spread on the field, but who knows.
