Mason's arm is trash but it's probably better than Ben's now.

Except it's not. Mason doesn't have the arm to complete the throws Ben is missing. The only way Mason is an upgrade is if he sees the field better, is more decisive and faster with his progressions. Maybe, but I doubt it.

Mason runs play action significantly better.

At this point, I'd say he reads the field better.

He struggles with mid rang passes, particularly deep outs, because he just can't get enough velocity.
