Anyone want to explain the 3rd down play design? One receiver option. Fucking one.
Matt Canada. And we saw this same stupid ass garbage last season with Rustbelt Randy.

I think it was a RPO. But my problem with that is why fade instead of slant. Much higher percentage.

It better not.

No.
It most certainly did not.

Ben led us to points on that drive.
Fucking DPI against Claypool and then misdirection plays which seem to have only one option. All the other players are just distractions and clear outs hosing our offense if the first option is smothered.

Ben, Mason, it doesn't matter. Can't fucking punch it in. Sad. Hell, that whole sequence is on Ben because a better pass to Claypool means six.
I said that last week.
I was told Mason was the reason we sucked on offense.
He was A reason.

And now our second string defense needs to hold them.

I think the only way our defense holds them is if we start taking players out...

You have Najee Harris. You have to give him a shot on 3rd down if you're going for it on 4th.
Or run it on 4th. If you get stuffed, at least defenses have to consider the run in the future.
I thought "oh fuck" as soon as I saw Najee motion out of the backfield

If we're going to let Herbert stay in rhythm and dink and dunk us to death this will be a long night.

There was no DPI. Both were hand fighting. Good non-call

I would agree, but they called that on Pierre the drive before.

Well, freezing rain isn't pouring down and the ball isn't a goddamn icicle.
Claypool's back, which helps a ton.
But I have a feeling points wise, it's gonna be REAL similar.
