Coaching staff finally saw enough suckage from Bush. Spillane is now in.
His momentum was going one way. He had to slam on the breaks and get back to the ball. He wasn't scoring on that play no matter what.Baltostiller wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 2:33 amYes it was. Catch the ball on your feet and walk into the end zone. Football 101. My TE coach In college would destroy me in film if I did that. Could have been a better throw but Claypool should have scored easily.K_C_ wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 2:29 amThat wasn't even one iota on Claypool.Baltostiller wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 2:28 am
Claypool fucked that up badly. You NEVER jump if you don’t have to. He should have caught that and walked into the end zone. His fucking fault!
Get real.
It was a bad throw. Plain and simple and it could end up being huge when this game is over.

Fckin LA Center moved that ball and drew us offsides. The D can't do anything right.
We had only 3 possessions, and a shitty playcalling cost us at least 3 points.

Yes, but we aren't playing the Lions either...K_C_ wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 2:33 amI don't think Mason should start ahead of Roethlisberger but this offense is a mess no matter the QB.steelmann58 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 2:31 amIn reality there is no one that thinks mason is a better option not even KC
Folks are beating off at this offensive explosion and we're going to have the same amount of points at the half as last week.

I mean, this could very well be one of the last games that Ben ever plays... heck, there aren't that many left this year. The dude has been the most sacked QB in history, been punished more than damn near any other QB in modern NFL history, and played behind some god awful offensive lines and managed to gut out wins in so many situations other QBs fold in time and time again for close to two decades.
And we have to sit here and listen to shit like "well, Mason wouldn't have underthrown that one!!!"

If he isn't a starter "at this moment" he will never be a starter.ToddHaleysNineIron wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 2:29 ami was going to post this… ben isn’t what he once was , nobody disputes that… but mason is what he is, i happen to like him but he’s not a starter in this league at this moment… that’s a throw only a few make.
some will continue to act like children and maybe that’s part of their schtick here and i get that… but they are clowns
I see Bush earned himself some well-deserved bench time, though it doesn't seem to have staunched the bleeding.

Send the house on every play! The result will be the same as Butler’s best drawn up scheme with this edition of our defense.

Considering he’s throw several deep balls on the money, I have my opinion on it. I find he often tries to make sure his guy has a play, rather than overthrow it. For years now.JackLambert58 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 2:19 amWas it caution or can he not put it on the money anymore?bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 2:19 amI get that Ben was trying to be a bit careful with that deep ball to 11 but the underthrow cost us points.

Agree to disagree. We got our asses kicked for jumping unnecessarily which is what CC did. Could have been a better throw but should have been 6K_C_ wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 2:35 amHis momentum was going one way. He had to slam on the breaks and get back to the ball. Yeah -- looking at total points instead of points per drive is dishonest. 3.33 points a drive is a decent pace.

no pass rush and the secondary has no clue what’s going on

Doesn't matter what the offense does. Defense isn't getting a stop it seems/
That was a bad throw and a massively costly one no matter the QB.Flanker wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 2:38 amNo way Macy underthrows a ball... And where in the fuck is shitbag Tuitt???
Oh goody…another injury on the DL.
I was seriously worried about the Chargers getting a FG before the half, and here they're close to a TD.
