Re: Steelers at Chargers Game Discussion
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Honestly, having the ball at the end was the best we could hope for. Shame the OL decided to shit the bed at the end.
Can't wait to see how Tomlin explains away a historically bad defensive effort. We've seen other teams with less talent and more injuries hold our offense under 30, many many times.

Door forget the Ravens beat the doors off the Chargers.
My point?
Ravens are finding ways to win. Much like we did last year when somehow we looked at the schedule and we were somehow 11-0.
Steelers could very well be sitting at home in January. That’s why you need to beat teams like the motherfucking Detroit Lions
Fuck Tomlin

Herbert carved up the soft zones all night. With his arm, or his legs.franco32 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 4:38 amIt was a slot blitz (which never gets home) and a busted coverage.Steelperch wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 4:37 amThat defensive call on the TD pass needs to be examined.

At this point I’d be happy drafting Linderbaum in the 1st. Green is awful.
In their current state, I hate everything about this organization.

Let's get something straight right now. Ben Roethlisberger CRAPS ALL OVER MASON RUDOLPH. Anyone suggesting Mason is anywhere close to Ben should be banned.

Kudos to Cam Sutton, Cam Heyward, Joe Schobert, James Pierre, Ben Roethlisberger, Chris Boswell, Diontae Johnson, and Najee who played like the weren’t okay with thinking they were overmatched and would lose. They played their asses off.
A lot of fight in those guys and maybe it will amount to something once their defense is some semblance of itself.

Let's hope the staff realizes scoring points is what wins games .BouldernBun wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 4:41 amWe put up this many points next time around we win. I think..
Look to score 30+ every week.
Especially. Especially, if this defense is going to be depleted going forward and knowing how impactless Bush and Edmund's are.

Bush and Edmunds can’t cover or tackle. That’s a big hole right up the middle of a defense. The scrubs who got playing time sucked as expected. The regular starters who failed are the real assholes

This is why you don’t tie the Lions
I have a sneaking suspicion that tie is going to eff us out of a playoff game.

Let's hope Watt, Minka and Haden get back.
Holding out hope for Tuit.

Week to week I guess.
Depends on his performance

If we get some defenders back we have the ability to win out, assuming we get 75% of the offensive performance tonight.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 4:48 amThis is why you don’t tie the Lions

No reason we can’t win out in the AFC north. That would pretty much guarantee a playoff spot.
