How key was it to hold them to a FG after that long run on 4th down?
On a scale of 1-10
A 10

I know everyone in the front office and coaches will go in the “don’t do anything to lose” mode, probably this board too…I am almost there too.
I would seriously think about putting in Kenny. Just call it temporary and Mitch starts next week still, but I would love to see it to keep the foot on their throats.
See if Kenny can string together few plays for a series or two, maybe even a quarter.
Mitch has had some shit throws already. Jump throws and awful footwork for no reason. Might be the spark the Offense needs. Can’t go relying on the defense for everything!
Mitch has not done anything except not make game changing mistakes.
Won’t happen, but I’d love to see it.

Holding the AFC champs to six points in their home stadium and scoring 17 points off turnovers is a pretty damn good first half. Let's see if our OL can pick it up in the second half.

A couple of bad throws is no reason to bench Mitch. He's been absolutely fine today. He really made those two splash plays with his vet savvy and arm.

Just saw the replay on the big play to Gentry. Great blocking in the open field from Chuks to blow that play open

We are up 9 with a shit ton of opportunities for points. This trend will continue this half and next week.
If we are hoping to get the Mitch or Canada answer today or next week it will not happen.

108 yards of offense in 1st half can not be repeated

Below the line if you will
Running attack more of a retreat than an attack
Have to push the ball downfield

Of course it can. 11 point lead with the defense playing great and Tomlin will be in full turtle mode to shorten the game.
If we're lucky, we might take a deep shot on 3rd and 2.

You can put a long hold on your Kenny crush
Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin plans to "sit Kenny Pickett all season long."
Pickett's impressive preseason outings didn't change the calculus for Tomlin, who apparently wants to let the rookie learn about the NFL from the bench. Glazer's report indicates Tomlin would probably start Mason Rudolph over Pickett if Mitchell Trubisky misses time with injury or gets benched for poor play. If Tomlin is committed to Pickett riding the bench for all of 2022, the rookie QB is likely safe to drop even in superflex formats.

No reason for Mitch to be stepping backwards on that throw
