Divisional Round Thread - More Complaints
Re: Divisional Round Thread - More Complaints
Dak looking like reality has just hit him in the face.
"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."
What really hurts is seeing offensive gurus like Shanahan and McDaniel killing it, while also fielding arguably as-good if not better defenses to PIT.

OK, that final play was hilarious
What are the odds that Tomlin hires McCarthy as WR coach next year?

I'm glad the Cryboys lost but Prescott seems like a really good guy.

I think I’ll keep KP8 if offered Dak for him.

Dak can’t even run “the annexation of Puerto Rico” correctly!

Sadly, not as hilarious as that screen pass on 4th and 10 we ran a couple of years ago.

This is really bad for Prescott and the Cowboys. This was supposed to be Prescott's moment.
The melt down around here will be immense LOL
Same old Jerry's Cryboys!

If that end of game formation was worth anything, it would be run during the game under normal scenarios.
That formation is the same thing as running the fake punt with the punter as QB, and you have lost the element of surprise. Just use your starting QB and run your best play!
Why wait until the end of the game to go all Pablo Picasso? Bust out your Picasso on the practice field and have the guts enough to run it in the regular playbook! We have the same problem in our organization.

Does anything really think the "Brain Trust" /snark of Tomlin and Co. have any chance of defeating the Bengals anytime in the next decade? I would say the Bengals ain't the Bungles any longer.

It’s possible. Familiarity makes games close. See last week Bengals v Ravens, Bills v Miami.steelheadtrout wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 2:57 amDoes anything really think the "Brain Trust" /snark of Tomlin and Co. have any chance of defeating the Bengals anytime in the next decade? Hell, the Steelers made it interesting for a while in the second Cincy game.
The Bengals are an elite team, tho. There is zero doubt.

LOL why worry about the Bungles when we haven't even won a playoff game in 6+ years?!?steelheadtrout wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 2:57 amDoes anything really think the "Brain Trust" /snark of Tomlin and Co. have any chance of defeating the Bengals anytime in the next decade? Take some solace knowing Tomlin isn't good enough to seriously disappoint you.

Cinci is the hottest team in the league right now. Burrow and Chase are better than any Steelers offensive player. Maybe they remember they are the Bungles but I think they will be the class of the division for the next several years.
By the time the Steelers are legit contenders, Burrow will probably be getting fitted for his yellow jacket.Kodiak. wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 3:00 amLOL why worry about the Bungles when we haven't even won a playoff game in 6+ years?!?steelheadtrout wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 2:57 amDoes anything really think the "Brain Trust" /snark of Tomlin and Co. have any chance of defeating the Bengals anytime in the next decade? Anyone that watched the real contenders this weekend and thinks the Steelers are anywhere close, is delusional.
