The signing of Pat Pete made CB drafting a slightly different proposition. What was once desperation turned into a quest to get someone who can play inside and out, and that means a combo of outside speed/length, inside agility, and tackling/toughness. With Gonzalez gone before pick 17, I had 5 CBs nearly even in the next tier, and two of them fit the profile I just mentioned above. I tried to trade up for one of the two and couldn't quite swing the deal. Happy to get the other prospect here.

He's someone you will have noticed if you watched any of his teams games this year. He's covering the best they face and he is a holy terror in run/screen support. Good length 6'4", 34" arms, 8258 wingspan), COD, and ball skills.
