Thursday night. Steelers best interest?
Thursday night. Steelers best interest?
Serious question about tomorrow's game.
I don't know what is in our best interest for a Baltimore or a Cincinnati win.
Pros and cons for both.
I'm thinking a Cincinnati loss makes the most sense, only because we have 2 games against them left.
Thoughts?

The Bengals scare me a lot more than the Ratbirds.
We can handle Lamar. He''s an idiot.
Burrow is going to ball out big time before its over.

Both have absolutely brutal schedules moving forward. Cannot go wrong either way, which is nice.
But if I had to pick I’d say Bengals win. Couple that with a Steelers blowout of the Browns
and it’s back to first place in the AFC North.
Steelers still have two left against the Bengals to slam the door on the division, if they can.

Bengals should beat the Colts, Vikings, and a Cleveland Browns team that should be demoralized at the end of the year in their last game. If they beat the Ravens tomorrow night and split against us, that's 5 more wins at least. I'm not so sure we shouldn't be cheering for the Ravens....Smashmouth21 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 11:26 pmBoth have absolutely brutal schedules moving forward. I’ve spent way too much time this week thinking about this.

Bungs. Would love to see the sports world rage at the existence of a 1st place steeler team next week.

I'm ok if the elevator tears win tomorrow.
Steelers will handle the division one way or the other.

If Cinci loses they would be 0-3 in the division. 3 games behind Baltimore and 2 games behind Pittsburgh after we beat Cleveland. I mean they would have to finish 3rd or 4th unless they unleash hell.
Baltimore is 2-2 in the division With a loss and when Pittsburgh wins we would be in 1st place and that would annoy a lot of people so that can e fun.

Good point. Hard to go against a scenario where a team is essentially knocked out of the division title this early.stillthere wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 4:37 amIf Cinci loses they would be 0-3 in the division. 3 games behind Baltimore and 2 games behind Pittsburgh after we beat Cleveland. This is a must win for the Bengals but they are going to get killed ( unless Joe Burrow unleashes hell). Both DEs out. #2 Wr out. I just do not see them being able to stop the Ravens. Of course the Ravens could stop themselves...

Cincy would also fall to 1-5 in conference play. At that point they'd have to finish 6-1 to have a shot at the playoffs.

If the Bengals and Browns win this weekend, those demoralized Browns will be in first place in the AFCN on Sunday and might have a little more to play for late in the season than you imagine.franco32 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 11:49 pmBengals should beat the Colts, Vikings, and a Cleveland Browns team that should be demoralized at the end of the year in their last game.
