Lil Brock has his work cut out for him today.
Making fun of. Qb in nfc champ game doesn’t really make a case for Kenny. Even if that qb is losing. There are better ways to defend picket.
Has anyone actually gone through the brain damage of trying to make the Kenny-Tomlin combo work? Seems like the excuse generators usually need to blame one or the other for the shortcomings.

He's little.

Not making fun of him. Purdy is small. Gets lots of passes batted down at the line of scrimmage.

I guess there's more than one way to throw behind a receiver

But Tomlin has done more with less over the last few years.
What has he actually done though. A SB is doing more with less. NHALS is meaningless. Getting flushed out of participation playoffs is just axs meaningless.

And what role does he have in creating the situations he finds himself in.
It just depends on how you view it. One way is to say a team must win the Super Bowl or it’s a failure. If you want to take that extreme position consistently, I’ll tip my hat to you but do not think that’s realistic every year.

I like to use the playoffs as a barometer because it means the team at least had a chance (even if small) to win a championship. But, again, that is colored by expectations. If you think a team is really Super Bowl caliber, then making the playoffs is not going to be enough. But if you are the Steelers from this year, then I believe making the playoffs is overachieving. You can disagree if you want but to each their own.

Is it overachieving, or is it the function of the NFL watering down the playoffs by adding a 7th seed? The 2018 team was much better than the 2023 team, but the 2018 team missed the playoffs in 2018 because there was no 7th seed. Tomlin's coaching performance in 2018 was a fireable offense, even if you somehow have convinced yourself that he did a good job this year (notwithstanding the back-to-back losses to 2-10 teams).

Enjoy NHALS. It's all Tomlin is ever going to give you.
Point me to where I defended Tomlin and NAHLs.

Please and thanks.
LOL. Ummmkay, you just jumped onto this rant because you think Harbaugh sucks, like Tomlin.

So I said Tomlin sucks.

How can the Rooneys watch this and not see they have to dump Tomlin?
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Well, he's done just as much as Harbaugh, sort of, with a little delusion mixed in.

Yep.

Good story, likable team. San Fran getting 6 rings wouldn't be the end of the world, but still a reason to root against
The Rats are out, and that’s all that matters. I really don’t care who wins it all now. The 6 rings thing is meaningless to me.
I used to prioritize the number of Lombardis over everything else when deciding which team I wanted to win the Super Bowl. I pulled HARD for the Ravens over the 49ers in that Super Bowl.

But I find that I don't really care about that much anymore. The Rooneys have demonstrated that they don't give a shit about Super Bowls anymore. If they don't care, why should we?

Yep. We haven't be a real SB contender in over a decade and they don't care.

McCaffrey is a BEAST!!!
He should be the MVP over choking, fumbling Lamar. He won't be though...
I’ve been trying to come up with a reason that Lamar is sure fire MVP. I got nothing.

Not true. With competent coaching, we had a SB contender as recently as 2018.

The Steelers were a top-5 team at worst from 2014-2018. Coaching is the reason they didn't do much of anything.

It's going to be an embarrassment when one of these 7 seeds with an 8-9 record goes on a roll to the SB
