Man…is St.Brown good!
Plus Gibbs, Montgomery, Williams, LaPorta. Lots of good weapons in the Lions offense.
Yep. Excellent O-line, speed everywhere. And an OC that knows how to make it all work.

Don't forget the surgery the QB is performing on the 49ers defense.

Man, do they really need to nail the OC hire.

These teams are all so much more dynamic and complex on offense than PIT ever has been (Killer Bs may have been as difficult, but that was talent, not scheme).

Playoff teams are going to take away the 2-3 things you do well on offense. So you gotta be able to attack them 3-4 other ways.

That's a RB you draft in the first round

7 top 50 picks the last two drafts.

High draft picks are good. More picks in the top 50 are good. Trading down in the draft is good.

Picking in the late teens/early 20s and never acquiring more and/or future draft capital? Sprinting to the podium for years on end to reach for needs? Bad, very bad.

Hopefully Khan/Weidl get a chance to run the draft, not so much Rooney and Tomlin.

This is a huge drive right here for the Niners.

49ers and BAL both had among league's best defenses this year, and both got boat raced in the 1st half of today's games

In the current NFL, defense secures NHALS, but offense wins championships.

Gotta be able to score points in this league in the playoffs. Can't always count on the defense shutting down the other team like Tomlin does. Balt thought they finally had an offense that could put up points when they needed it. Oops. Niners now have to prove that Purdy can mount a comeback down multiple scores in the 2nd half.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Can't believe we're gonna watch this fucker go to Washington while we extend Tomlin. He deserves a HC job just for what he's done with Goff.

You're 100% correct. I could completely see Pickett in Goff's jersey today.

I don't get that decision. Unless you're kicker sucks, you take the FG there. up by 3 scores half way though the 3rd is a tough lead to overcome.

That is what the Lions have done all season....and it's worked.

That time it didn't only because of a drop.

Yep. Situation…you’re up 14 in the second half. Take the almost sure 3 and make it a three score game. Now, if the 9ers manage a TD…Holy shit Aiyuk!
SF scores here, it’s a one score game and all of a sudden your butt cheeks are clenched tighter than a rusty vise!

It's like a reverse Tomlin dumb. In both cases situational football completely thrown out the window. Tomlin surrenders and kicks the FG when they have to have a TD.
