Have either been sick or dealing with sick kids the last several days and haven't watch much hockey. Doesn't look like I've missed anything.

I see that Lindy Rupp was fired today. Hmm...

850 career victories with a winning % in the playoffs.

Coach of the year.

Two cup finals.

Got his team into the playoffs last year and ACTUALLY WON A PLAYOFF SERIES. I almost don't remember what that feels like.

Oh, the Devils extended him after last season but had the balls to move on from him this year.

Yet the Penguins won't budge even though the last 6 years have been wasted under 'you know who.'

If the Birdies come out flat tonight the crowd is going to turn on them.
