i mean i get it, the team seemed outcoached from the start as we tried to run power into the heart of their defense as they attacked our weaknesses and backups but damn y'all got some tomlin inflicted ptsd i swear.
we have a punchers chance in the playoffs if healthy, ffs! we were told we should lose out this yr cuz we were the last place team in the afc north going away and we needed an entire gut and rebuild and we r in the playoffs with 3 weeks left! c'mon!? we get healthy and who knows?!

Happens after every loss. When we lost to the Browns most posters here lost their shit and some even wondered if we could even get back to NHALS. After we won the next two games the tone was different but..... even the optimistic ones aren't shocked by today's outcome except the part where we only ran 10 plays or so in the 2nd half.

While it's hard to understand how / why, the Steelers have gotten the better of Harbaugh and the Ravens recently and have won 8 of the last 9. It's easy to say Jackson missed several of those but his record against Pittsburgh is abysmal.

So yes, Baltimore is worried. At some point it will turn but until it does, the Steelers are in their heads.

I’m trying to console myself by thinking maybe Tomlin didn’t take this game seriously to save his team for the Ravens and Chiefs.

I would believe that if it wasn’t the same stupid head scratching mistakes he always makes.

And more I think it, the more his excuse of failing to call a timely timeout galls me even more.

At the end of each half, nothing…NOTHING…is more important than clock management.

Whoever Tomlin was talking to at that point, he needed to tell the, to shut the fuck up until this play was over.

This is only one small peek behind the curtain, but all those times they fail to get plays in on time…all those times things seemed rushed or timeouts get called…make me imagine that Tomlin’s game day sideline is “go with your gut” chaos.

I mean a game day sideline will always have an element of chaos but you have to try and minimize it.

The defense was brutalized on the first drive—from the get go—when they were fresh as a daisy. The only reason PHI didn’t blow them out of the building was the fumbles and the fact they stopped the quick passes they used to go up 14 in an effort to milk clock with the run.

Yup- I watched Chiefs/Browns yesterday.

Still some hiccups, but the Chiefs are in their "it's the end of the year...we are getting our shit sorted" mode.

Chiefs front 7 is very good, their secondary is a little suspect, their offense is about as pedestrian as the Steelers offense, they don’t have any skill players that would scare anyone, Mahomes does just enough generally to lead them to victory, but Mahomes has been taking a beating this year because their tackles are horrible, it’s gotten so bad a left tackle they’ve moved their all-pro left guard out there. Don’t get me wrong, they do keep winning, and maybe they are just going through the motions, but they don’t look near as good as they have in the past.
