There seems to be some real schacanery going on with the Stoolers
Simply stupid the Rooney’s have become. A pyramid scheme for sure

When Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was asked about the possibility of another team trying to trade for him, he responded by telling anyone with such thoughts to “save your time.”
The Steelers reportedly sent the same message. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Bears called the Steelers to see if there was any chance a deal could be worked out for Tomlin to become their new head coach and that the Steelers quickly rebuffed their overture.
Another team also reportedly reached out to the Steelers and was told that Tomlin has a no-trade clause, although he could put a stop to any trade notion by refusing to negotiate a deal with the other team even if they had agreed to compensation with Pittsburgh.
The Bears have interviewed a number of head coaching candidates over the last couple of weeks and can begin having in-person conversations with coaches from that group that are currently working for other teams after the divisional round. Their next coach will come from that pool and not one that includes Tomlin.

Steelersdepot take
https://steelersdepot.com/2025/01/schef ... ke-tomlin/
I contend schefter is part of this PR psyop because he’s always in the middle saying this or that. This guy I used to respect. But he’s simply a schill reporter now, smart people will see the game Tomlin and Schefter are running
Adam Shifty Schefter I will call him from now on

I believe Schefter's report 100%.
Why IN THE FUCK would Tomlin (who has a no trade clause) allow himself to be traded from a team that has had 3 head coaches since 1969 to a Bears team who have probably had 3 head coaches in the last 5 years?
I hate Cool Shades as much or more than anybody here, but he's no dumbfuck and Tomlin's shit would maybe buy him 3 years in Chicago (if that) before they kicked this FRAUD to the curb.

Are no trade clauses common for NFL coaches?
And how long has he had this no trade clause? Is it something he demanded in his latest extension because he knew Steelers Nation was tired of his shit and was scared the Rooneys would be pressured into getting rid of him?

thats how much of a fragile ego this guy has. he's the opposite of what all these foamers out there blowing him year after year
Schefter does break the player injuries pretty well
But this manufactured drama with player movements and this Tomlin stuff has been going on 3 years now with him in the middle

Forgot where I heard but apparently not common at all.

Every year Tomlin makes over 15 million dollars is a Lombardi trophy in Art's Bad Ronald fantasy world.
The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

I guess the Bears didn't learn their lesson from the Claypool trade. They just want to keep taking our garbage

Shefty needed to feed the monster with a bs story.

That’s what all this is, as I have stated. Patterns of PR to keep Tomlins value high

I think Depot reported Jets were this team.

I thought every team wanted Coach not just the bottom feeders.

This is sickening on many levels.
1) any coach worth a damn would most likely jump at the opportunity to get paired with the #1 pick in the draft the Bears just landed in Caleb Williams. Not Jibbs though. He’s co tent sucking with scrubs with zero pressure to actually win.
2) Even if you don’t want to trade your HC you AT LEAST hear the offers. Nit fucking Dunce though. He wants the world to know HIS guys untouchable. Don’t even dare inquire about it.
No wonder Jibbs has such an arrogant attitude bout it all.
Fuck them both.
No amount of mediocre success can wash away this stank.
I want them both embarrassed. Bring on the suck.
Maybe TJ and Boz will land on IR early next year. Jibbs can’t do shit without either of them.

Here, Here. This is so disheartening. Could have fleeced Da Bears and started over. Unbelievable.
