I won't link to it, but why are these two clowns on the internet talking about the Pickens trade? Neither said anything particularly offensive beyond expressing general shock (really, are you that dumb?) that they pulled the trigger on getting rid of PIckens. But even admitting that you had a reaction like, "Bro, what are you doing?" to the trade is pretty retarded for a borderline roster player in Bishop and a day 2 draft pick like Wilson.

There was a story from very early on (2007) how Tomlin's team differed from Cowher's. It was from the perspective of the Patriots. Basically said that they got dumber and talked more shit on the field. Cowher's teams were relatively blue collar. Tomlin's teams were bluster and dumb. That was very early on in the Tomlin regime. Tell me that this doesn't permeate the entire roster at this point.

Also anybody “shocked” by Pickens being traded is literally a goddamn fool. We all loved Pickens’ talent, but the guy is certifiably nuts and giving him a big contract (which was something that was never going to happen) would have done nothing but made Pickens’ erratic behavior far worse.

Not really. I mean, sure we're giving our opinions on the Steelers but in the grand scheme of things, those opinions are pretty meaningless.

Fun, but meaningless. We're going to be right about players and wrong about players. Records, matchups, etc. Sure it's fun but we don't actually have any real link to the team.

There's a reason several sports teams tell their players to stay off social media or to be careful what they write. Their words carry real weight. What Bishop and Wilson said really isn't a big deal, but it's also kind of dumb.

They were in the same locker room and stood on the same sidelines as George Pickens. They saw and heard things from Pickens I'm sure we weren't privy too and I don't think a single person on this site was "shocked" George Pickens was traded.
