If they're truly serious about going all in (yes, I know, Tomlin), I would go full bore for Terry McLaurin who has requested to be traded:

Him, Metcalf and Jonnu as targets for ARod. Just sayin'.

I can’t see this team committing $60M p/y to receivers

Please disregard any ridiculous grammatical or contextual errors.

I will strive to do better

But 70 or 80 million to three LBs? Business as usual.

The sheer dollar amount these guys get paid today, is mind boggling

I don’t think it makes sense to pay an OLB $40M p/y

But I also don’t understand paying a receiver that’s going to touch the ball, at best, 10 times a game, $30M p/yr

To say nothing of considering paying a #2 receiver, who would see the ball, maybe 6 times a game, the same amount

Anyway- the salary structure in the nfl is all effed up

I'll agree that the 30 million #2 WR is probably out of whack in the Cincinnati Bengals direction, but the #2 OLB/Edge at 25+ million is equally out of whack in 2025. Our defense is almost cartoonishly overpaid up and down the lineup at this point.
