Record aside, where do the Steelers rank in the AFCN?

How are the Pats better, we just beat them.
Did you watch the game?

Pats outplayed the Steelers by a fair margin.
I mean, yes the Steelers won but Boise State beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl once, too.

I answered the question like: if they played next week and had everybody healthy, who would be favored to win. Since the game the Steelers beat them, NE added back to their defense their best pass coverage guy and their best run defender.

The Steelers would be underdogs to about 6-7 teams in the AFC. Turnovers are notoriously fickle and generally revert to the mean, so they're not a particularly good way to measure strength of performance.
Yea that's a fair measure. If the Pats and Steelers played that game 10 times, I think the Steelers win 3...maybe 4 times.

Pats gashed the shit out of the run defense and the Steelers couldn't run the ball themselves. And how often does an NFL team turn it over 5(five!) times in a game? That lotto ball probably comes up about 1% of the time.

As little as I buy into what happened so far, I don't get this question.

The Ravens are a banged up dumpster fire right now. Can they get better when guys get healthy? Sure, but that's not where they are right now.

Bungles aren't getting Burrow back anytime soon.

Browns are the Browns.

Steelers sadly are the best team in the AFC Norf right now just as the record indicates. It's not much to brag about at the moment.

Ravens will still probably go on a run at some point, but it's probably going to be too little too late at that point.

Agreed. The AFC North is in complete shambles right now. The whole AFC is kinda down.

People are sleeping on the Colts. Sure, the passing game will come back to Earth a bit but their running game and defense are legit. They've beaten up some bad teams, but history shows that is more predictive of future success than squeaking by good teams.

I think people are sleeping on both the Colts and the Jags.

I think they are both better than being given credit for right now.

Colts yes

Jags NO

Despite stumbling his way to a victory over Pat Mahomes on Monday, Trevor is still not a quality NFL quarterback

Agreed. Jags are using as much smoke as mirrors with their turnover differential as the Steelers.
