He hasn't been good, but do you really want someone even worse? Are you willing to increase the chances of losing over this? To answer the question, no, I would not cut him just for the tweets. I would bench him ala Cortez for his shitty terrible fucking play on the field. And then if he becomes an issue/cancer due to the benching, I'd cut his sorry ass.

Nick has no idea what Blount did or didn't do over the course of the last month. Neither do I, but the fact that it's the players who wanted him gone tells me it was probably a good idea. But that won't stop Nick from flapping his gums with 75 different posts on the subject.

I said Ike at safety last year, maybe the year before, I was skinned alive for saying it. I'm still not sure that its a horrible idea only because virtually every INT that Ike ever got was him coming in on the ball. Besides I dont think his tackling is any worse than Mike Two Hand Touch Mitchell. Mind you Ike would be an upgrade at CB right now.

I said Ike to safety 6 years ago on this site once I realized he couldnt catch worth a damn but had excellent coverage skills and great speed- I would rather have a CB who can catch.
