Breaking: After a historic 19-season run in Pittsburgh, Mike Tomlin just informed his team that he is stepping down as the Steelers head coach, sources tell @JFowlerESPN and me.

The Steelers now will be looking for only their fourth head coach since 1969.

Came on my ESPN feed. It would be very unusual for this definitive of a statement to be wrong. Possibly but unlikely

This makes sense. Tomlin was so calm while facing the heat this year. He knew he was done.

Best part is since he resigned is the Steelers still own his rights, so if the dipshit wants to coach in the league again they will get compensated...best case scenario is Raiders offer him tons of money and give us their #1 pick this year
