Rejoice my Steelers brethren! A new era is upon us. This is the most I've felt anything about the Steelers in some time.

Now if we only can hire an offensive coach.

This makes sense. Tomlin was so calm while facing the heat this year. He knew he was done.
I think I would give heavy odds it'll be Brian Flores. But maybe some young whippersnapper OC will get an interview and wow Danny Rooney.

And it would be malpractice not to call Curt Cignetti, just to be 100% sure.

Reminds me of Cowher in the last season, IIRC. Wasn't his normal fiery self.

If the Bengals just bag their coach the whole AFC North would be coachless. NFL could just hand it over to the TV networks. Fan interactive in game coaching decisions on Amazon Prime brought to you by AWS!

I hope you are wrong. I don’t want Flores or any defensive guy.

Plus, the last idiot DC we hired from Minnesota stuck around like a cold sore.

No, I want a young OC who knows how to develop a QB.

Cignetti will be tough. I think he just signed a big fat long contract.

But I’d love it.

Anyone for Kubiak?
or Grant Udinski.

Or, hell, Curt Cignetti

But I believe Brian Flores is the frontrunner right now.
flores seems likely for art 2 to choose. if he gets good oc i guess it could work

Such a weird career. 19 seasons. 2 SB appearances, 1 SB win, NHALS out the ass. I wish his career was reversed like Cowhers . Cowher struggled to win it all until right at the end so is remembered fondly. Unfortunately not sure will be the same for Tomlin but wish him well.

Even if Tomlin takes the Sean Payton route and goes to TV and then decides to get back into coaching, Steelers will still get compensated...Broncos gave Saints a 1st rounder and 2nd rounder.

I thought this would never happen in my lifetime.

Praise Jesus.

We have closed the book on Coach T and his massive ineptitude. It is a great resetting.

I fear what comes next but it is as if a billion pound Primanti corned beef and cheese has been removed from my shoulders.

Dino Tomlin is the top candidate to replace him.

We need to root for Tomlin to get the itch to coach a year from now and the Steelers get a pick for his rights

Good. PS need a complete overhaul. Roster is a mess. Watt should be traded and some others should be seen in similar vein. I expect a horrendous season next year.

Minter from Chargers or Kubiak from Seahawks.
