Brock Purdy is only like 5000x better than Pickett

Oh my god is this defense bad.
There might be a good QB in that 2022 draft class afterall

One thing is for sure, the Steelers defense will get better this season. The QB play, could be a LONG season boys.
We'll talk plenty this year.. Nice of you to finally show up when shit goes wrong.

But Pickett will get better. He got a lot better the second half of last season. Not worried about him.

The Steelers secondary could be very, very bad. Very bad.

I didn't think Cam Sutton or Edmunds were major losses but it sure looks like they are.

Fuck Purdy. I hope gets concussed and is passed out and someone sticks a dick in his Purdy mouth when he is on the stretcher!

San Francisco shows how a contender looks in the first game of the season, and shows how far away the Steelers are.
Like the Steelers did the last 2 opening day games. Pretty much meant shit at the end of the year

Well

I was optimistic for today

This was just sad

Only thing worse is being there

I walked home from a bar before halftime I was so disgusted

Never done that in my life

Kenny was dogshit today. Have to think it was nerves and expectations.

Not enough George as well.
Imagine being the second year QB going on the road for an early east coast game against the vaunted Steelers defense and fans. That guy had a legit excuse. Not the 25 year old playing at home in the same stadium he played 5 years in college.

Kenny may just be dog shit dude.
Even at his worst, he wasn’t ever as bad as he was today.

Should have stuck to my 31 to 6 troll score post.

Perch…Kenny was bad, but the 49ers are obviously a WAY better team than Pittsburgh.

This was a team failure, not a singular Kenny failure.

We have rarely thrown to the middle of the field. No crossing routes, no TEs down the seam, nothing. It will be a long season with Canaduh!

Well, the good news is we won't be starting from our own 5 yard line, which I believe has been the average starting field position.

That would have won handily. You would have scored 28 points (I do not expect any more scores).

As it is, Chest is on track, I believe, to take Week One Score Game honors.

Muth got injured too? I haven’t been paying attention.

Kenny wasn’t bad. Kenny is bad. He beat some shit teams at the end of last season and pulled it out for Franco which I’m forever grateful for, but let’s be real, he’s not the guy.

Question is how long do the Steelers fuck around to find out? Could set this franchise back 10 years or so.

Purdy channeled his inner Tom Brady and Pickett channeled his inner Mitch Tribusky for this game.

When the Steelers start rolling and Pickett is playing great, Perch will be nowhere to be seen.

Dude is orgasming because Kenny had a bad game today

Been missing all preseason. Probably just had family commitments or something.

Do the math.

The Steelers have more weapons than they’ve had in a long time. 49ers are a better team. Results should not have been this bad. The game threads here are just a constant blame fest on everyone except Pickett. It’s only fair to level the field.

In Tomlin's defense, SF shouldn't have been this prepared and crisp in Wk1. Especially for a long road trip.

Not supposed to escalate to this level of hostility until at least the 2nd half of the year.
