I wonder if practice contributed to that. Said Landry took half the snaps, and Mettlenberg had some, too. Ben was a game time decision.

Of course, you expect more from a vet QB....but 3 weeks off and having to adjust to playing on that knee maybe half the reps wasn't enough to be ready.

The other side is maybe you have to accept it takes Ben up to a game to work back into form...and better to get it out of the way sooner than later - holding off one more week might not change the fact he needs a game to get back into form because he's not going to be 100% for several more weeks.

Yep to all the above. The seams were open all game long but not once were they attacked until midway through the 4th. 3 qtrs + before the light came on and they decided not to attack the 4th rated run D in the league. Inexcusable and completely atrocious coaching and play calling.
