Maybe the master plan was to ease into the playoffs
Limp in and catch the all by surprise with a brand new dynamic game plan

Anyone who is actually cheering for this team to win a playoff game this year, which will ultimately be meaningless and only give Tomlin more incentive to keep trudging along, is a GD fool.
I pray to all that is holy that whoever we play next week beats the FUCK out of this team in as embarrassing and humbling a fashion as possible.
The organization, Tomlin, and our dumbass fans need to be humbled. Keep the ugly L's coming.
And if that doesn't do the trick, then let's get our asses beat up and down all next year too.
I agree with this 100%. Hopefully the Ratbirds drop a 40+ burger next Saturday and it's truly embarrassing. Jibba Jabba needs to be humiliated like no other. He has to go. Nothing will ever charge as long as he is here

I hate all of them. Some more than others.
I can’t stand this team
There are 31 other teams and a multitude of other sports to watch.
fans like you are the problem, actually. You perpetuate NHALS mania and the acceptance of mediocrity.
No. I understand that football is for entertainment and I choose to root for my favorite team. Yes, I get disappointed but by no means do the Steelers owe me anything. And yes NHALS is just part of being a successful team.
What I don't understand are the people that complain all time even when things go right.

Only Friermuth and a few others on offense cared about playing tonight. They stayed with the same offensive game plan as usual. Why not the quick passing game they used when they played at Cincinnati?
Have to trade Pickens for best offer. He has to go.

Pickens will be a convenient target of blame for a total team shit show
Heyward, Boswell, P Wilson and maybe Muth can keep, their heads up … the rest and the coaches can piss off
Arthur smith especially can fuck right off
If Pickens gives 50% effort, they win tonight.
3 drops and 0 fucking yards from your #1 receiver….and he likely ran the wrong route at the end of the game.

Trade Tomlin if you can, otherwise fire him
Hire Ben Johnson
Trade Pickens
Trade Watt if you can get a 1st plus other picks.
Complete rebuild. ANYTHING less and it's root for NHALS and laugh at this dumpster fire
This right here. Time for a rebuild with an offensive minded HC. Adios Najee. See if you can get anything for Minkah as well. Trade any defensive players that have a high price tag. Invest in offensive talent.

One more game of Russel Wilson is about all I can stand. The absolute only thing he’s able to do anymore is throw it deep down the sideline. Everyone knows it, but it’s still the basis of the entire game plan - hope we fall on a couple fumbles and Russ hits 2-3 moon balls (a phrase I’m physically ill typing and hope to never hear or read again after this season mercifully ends).
I don’t think the results would be different if they ran a triple option w Fields, but at least I could lie to myself that they were trying to find a new way to be successful. Would be better than week after week trotting out there and hoping for the other team to fail.
Instead Russ turns on the open sign at the all you can eat shit buffet, and I walk in like an asshole to munch down 3 hours worth.

I’ve been hard on Russ lately and I would not pay him big money but he had a lot of big drops tonight and Dan Moore was a turnstile.
He also had horrific play calling to overcome.

This literally had to be on purpose by Pickens.
And who else?
This entire team is fucked in the head.
Pickens is a pain but …
Two of those balls were punched away on good plays by defenders
And last one looked like Wilson’s fault
I was seeing the samething. 2 of those supposed drops, he got hit as soon as the ball hit his hands. That's not his fault. Heck, Chase dropped an easy TD for him.

Any quality offensive player in any future draft would be insane to come here. There is no offense.

At the beginning of the year with the hiring of smith and bringing fields and Wilson …. We all Knew what was about to happen
It was obvious doubling Down on a failed strategy
The offense was not going to be more dynamic and better
It was going to be more conservative and dumber
After losses Tomlin has continued to blame execution and TOs (knowing full good and well many are simply random)
It’s Wilson’s fault for INTs, it’s Kenny Pickets fault, it’s Pickens fault … it’s everyone’s fault but the conductor who is picking the musicians, training them and telling them all what notes to play and in which order.
This has become an absurd joke. Dont believe what you see but believe what you wish to be true

Our playbook tonight was about 8-10 plays
And we are all tired of the Moon ball and weak-ass throws

I'm so sick of the BS about the problem being execution by the players:
.
- YOU picked the players on this team
- YOU picked the coaches whose job it is to teach the players to execute.
- YOU decide who does and doesn't play.
- IF the players YOU put on the field don't execute the way you want them to, YOU can make the decision to bench them and put others out there (unless of course no one YOU picked can execute... if so, again, that's on YOU).
.
If execution really is the problem, that's still on.YOU!!!

Begs the question. Why hasn't Williams been more involved in the game plan?
Nevermind.
Because Tomlin.
They check the box with one target and that’s that for the rest of the game. Gotta get back to wasting time pitching it to Najee and Patterson.

Muuth did not lose this game. The offense did.
The drop at the end was inexplicable, but without Friermuth they aren't even in a position for a game winning drive.
Yeah those dump offs when uncovered and stumbling out of bounds before the sticks were really great.

Everyone is saying trade Pickens
Who in the Christ is going to give them more than a 6th or 7th for him? He’s a head case. The league knows it.
With the 6th or 7th round pick the Steelers can draft another sibling of a player already on the team. Team Nepo for Life
Name a top 10 or 15 receiver in the NFL. Now envision him on this team the past two years, in GP's shoes. It all ends the same. Why have a receiver at all? Just put some 300 pounders out there as multiple tackle eligibles and really give Tomlin what he likes.
Take any top receiver and absolutely bury him in this offense for 2 years, he's as frustrated as GP. I'm not justifying Pickens's tantrums, but I certainly understand.
No WR of any worth would want to play here
I say that every time Tee Higgins’ name comes up.

They’ve attracted coaches so bad it’s hard to evaluate players. They have to clean house of coaching before anything gets evaluated or fixed.
Hire an ascendant offensive mind
Get rid of anybody who isn’t integral to the future beyond a year or so.
Take chances on a bunch of undervalued talent
Get an elite QB come hell or high water.
Cut the dependence on old and overpriced defensive talent.
Then we can figure the rest out.
