Not sure how two crimes related to same substance works and if that would take Bell to 6.A player will normally be subject to discipline up to and including suspension without pay for four regular and/or post-season games for a first violation of the law related to substances of abuse other than alcohol and for six regular and/or post-season games for a second violation of the law related to substances of abuse other than alcohol. A player’s treatment history may be considered by the Commissioner in determining the appropriate degree of discipline. The suspension period may be extended if medically necessary, and, if extended, may involve mandatory treatment if required by the Medical Director.
That's absurd. No way and fuck either of the will even get 2 games. Glad you aren't their lawyer. Jesus.
...that's from the official drug policy.
Am I to understand these idiots were en route to team flight? I didn't read any of the links.
So these guys were getting on the team plane stoned?
Motherfuckers this stupid prolly didn't even have any visine with them.

But I doubt that would change anything with respect to smoking while driving and/or under the influence.

Can you imagine the hit the NFL will take if these guys get more than 1 game after the Rice debacle. Both first time offenders. I don't see it happening. It can't happen, can it?

As the NFL keeps digging itself a deeper hole with regard to off the field induced suspensions and the proliferation of more and more flags being thrown, the silver lining is I see no way they can be suspended even a game while being compared to the Ray Rice suspension. Perhaps the only "justice" to come out of that whole debacle.

1 game max, if that. Of course there's nothing to prevent PIT/Tomlin for de-activating them for a game or two. That would be really fucking dumb to risk an 0-2 hole to start the season. Find another way to send the message.

Guess it's just a matter of time when Blount gets traded for a conditional future 7th rounder or released.
Bell may sit out a game and be fined by the team...Or not.. Get the James Harrison treatment

Neither is going to get suspended. The NFL will in no way suspend these two "1st offense" knuckleheads after they gave 1st time wife-beater Ray Rice 2 games.
There is no way Goodell will administer a punishment that compares to Rice's. No FN Way! Can you imagine the media shitstorm that would generate? Especially considering they're in the process of revising the drug policy anyway.

I agree especially if you look at what's going on in San Francisco with Mr AK 47

No surprise but Le'Veon Bell did not make trip to Philly with Steelers today.

My guess is...if neither have a prior...Bell gets 2 games, Blount into the program. My guess is based on 2 separate offenses for Bell...
At least there's no road trip to DEN or SEA this year.

Blount is traveling with the Steelers according to a source. Was not arrested and was told he could call someone and leave the scene

UT... Oh Bell is in the Tomlin doghouse now. Perhaps Bell was too embarrassed to travel with his team mates. I know I would be.

That's good. We don't need Archer playing RB tomorrow night. Let Blount get all the carries.
