AB? Seems to me like everyone that accuses me of being obsessed with him, are the ones obsessed themselves. He's getting more targets, Brady loves him. He wasn't always an asshole in Pittsburgh. Remember, his last game with us, he caught 14 balls for a buck-50 and two scores, gave his team every chance to beat the Saints. But yeah, I'm an asshole for pointing that out. I'm not assuming he's going to be a nutcase...though he IS a night case, as in mentally fuckin' ill. But no one works harder.

Been a helluva season....would be apropos in this weird fuckin' year, that we win #7.
No matter how talented the guy was, this is CLEARLY addition by subtraction.

Ryan Clark said Brown was an asshole from DAY ONE. Told the coaches "if you give him money, you'll create a monster".

Clark said after Brown got paid, the very next practice he was screaming at Dick Lebeau. Saying; "you can't touch me, I'm the franchise".

As many here pointed out, when Jesse James left the Steelers for Detroit, he called the Steelers locker room; "The Kardashians".

Why do you think he was talking about?

The Steelers are 10-0 this year because they're a TEAM. Literally none of them give a flying fuck about stats or looking good or "getting mine".

Brown and Bell were great players. Unfortunately, they brought down the team easily as much as they helped it.

They were both a lot like T.O. As talented as he was? No fucking thanks.

Ok game is on in Cleveland market got nervous earlier went to wkyc website and schedule showed infomercials at 1 o'clock, but checked back just now and it's showing the game.
The dreaded infomercial! I haven’t faced that enemy in over a decade thank God!

How in God’s name can an infomercial garner more ratings than an NFL game, NFL royalty no less, in 2020!
It takes time for channel lineup guides to be updated on linear tv menus. Especially during a holiday week when system change moratoriums require executive overrides to make such a change.
I remember WJAC would put infomercials on every now and then over NBA games during Jordan’s rise in the early 90’s. I was up at PSU and would go nuts! I’d call in just to voice my rage. Sometimes you have to a leader for your audience and not just go by the Nielson charts.

Imagine blacking out, Ali, Tyson, Chamberlain, Bird, Magic, Dr. J, Jordan, Tiger, Jeeter, Ben, Mahomes, Bradshaw, Barry Sanders, McEnroe, Connors over an infomercial!

Not arguing any of that, re: Steelers, KC!! Brought in great replacements. But for all of you waiting for the AB meltdown....don't assume it's happening.

It happened just before he was signed.

Tampa wasn't aware of it, but the piece of shit already went nuts and the league is looking into it.

The league is going to do shit over this latest AB incident. The public is too focused on COVID to give a damn about this and the league only responds to things the public shows outrage about. There has never been a better time for an NFL player to be a wife beater or a rapist than right now.

Game is on in Philly Sunday afternoon, but I could have streamed it on the NBC Sports app anyway.

Other thing....I'd just as soon not release the team to go their separate ways during a mini-bye....potentially risk trouble.
The players cannot go anywhere they have to go to the facilities to take covid tests every day. 7 days a week even during the bye.

I'm in the Cleveland area and it looks like I will not be able to watch the game Sunday, since the Browns play at the same time.
Game is on nationally on NBC. CBS cannot black out NBC.

On NBC...won’t be blacked out, and even if it is not on your NBC station you can stream it on the NBC Sports app.

Now that Lamar has it, this game isn’t happening Sunday. Maybe Sunday week 18.

Interesting. The game is on at 1:15....National broadcast on W NNNNBC!
Funny, what are they going to do with the game already scheduled for that time slot???
Here in Hellpaso Texas they are showing raiders game. Wonder if that will change.

Would be nice to know before Friday, as i am traveling to Fort Worth. Would love to record the game
Well, it looks like the time slot for the Steelers-Ravens game is now occupied by a dog show! Beautiful dogs btw, but no thanks - I moved on to a movie on Roku. I wonder if the NFL has to pay NBC back for that one!

I would hope that the league would make the week 18 games-Play only if necessary. They preach about player safety- then there is no reason to play a game if it’s meaningless. Add 6% to everyone’s stats for contractual incentives and cancel those games that don’t have playoff implications. I think they’ve squeezed all the pulp out of this orange.

Here’s a question- would you be upset if the Ravens game got moved- and then canceled if we were 15-0? What if they gave us a tie and we were 15-0-1?

I don’t want to play a meaningless game with the Ravens because they couldn’t be bothered to require their weight room guy to wear a friggin mask. Tomlin was fined for wearing his mask wrong, the Raiders had to give up a pick and neither of their actions has led to the cancelation of a game. So what are the Ravens giving up? Nothing-because internally disciplined the perpetrator who they failed to reprimand in the first place. Total crap.

It’s clear to me that the NFL is making this up as they go along. There is no consistency in which games are moved and which are “play on”. Seriously I’m expecting them to come in one day after we beat Baltimore or Buffalo and say they called the season and will award the SB trophy after a round robin strength coaches only thumb wrestling tournament.

Where the fuck is the accountability for the Ravens? They discipline a strength coach? BULLSHIT I SAY! That team is full of drama....and it starts with the head coach. Make an example of them....make them take a loss.

There's not going to be any game on Sunday. The Ravens new positives mean the league will almost certainly move this to week 18, cost the steelers any possible bye and one of the biggest advantages that comes with being the #1 seed.
Unless you have some inside source, B2B....I'm thinking you're wrong on this call.

NBC is promoting this as though it's a special event. I think it's on.
They have added another ridiculous player to the list.

The Ravens have placed defensive end Jihad Ward on the Reserve/COVID-19 list,
Ward has not suited up for the Ravens since Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Of all these players on this weeks list only TWO have the virus. Dobbins and Ingram [he has hardly played a down this season.]
All the rest are Covid RESERVE which is simply precautionary. This game will be played.

Okay that didn't work for them so now here 's the latest

The Baltimore Sun and ESPN, both citing unidentified sources, reported that Jackson was among FOUR ???more Ravens players to test positive Thursday.
--Unidentified sources?? Bal fans better hope this is true. They have a better chance with RG3

But I suppose it would be best to wait until this latest story unfolds.

The Ravens have a better chance with RG3? That is the second time I’ve read something similar to that on the message board this evening. Robert Griffin III?

I get that LJ has been brought back down to earth, and his passing game has been off, but he was the MVP last year and is still one of the most dynamic players in the entire league. He can run and he can throw. He can’t throw outside of the numbers but the dude is still dangerous as fuck.

I’m sorry, we need to be more worried now because RG3 is going to be taking snaps Sunday?

That was not to be taken seriously. I f you are a Steeler fan you might remember the Steelers soundly pounding the then Redskins with RG at QB. Some think this game finished his stay in Washington.

First of all, I was skeptical of the story. I don't trust those Rats. But I just watched ESPN and he[Adam Schefter]] sort of confirmed it.
I was just going to post that info and say What is all the mystery who are all these players suddenly testing positive? Only player mentioned is LJ and if he out of course that is a negative. But there are backups and that alone should not screw up the nfl season.

Schefter expects the league to sort this out tomorrow.

Folks, we might witness NFL history shortly. At least if I was commissioner. :D But 1st, I would give the Ravens the option to play or forfeit the game. My bet is they play. This is based on the fact that RG3 was QB in their W over Pit last year and G. Edwards had the most rushes of any of their backs in both 2019 and 2020.

I would also be generous and reschedule their Thursday game to Sunday 12/6/2020 which would give ALL of the covid listed players the opportunity to play. It was very convenient/fortunate that Jackson tested + Thursday which could permit play Dec 6 if he meets the rules below.

Covid Rules

10 days have passed since the initial positive test; OR
Five days have passed since the initial positive test and the player receives two consecutive negative PCR virus tests at least 24 hours apart within that five-day period
Following a positive test, if the player demonstrates symptoms, he can return once:

At least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared; AND
At least 72 hours have passed since he last experienced symptoms

For some reason, other than L Jackson, we have not been notified who the other players tested Thursday are. The Ravens have until 9:30am 11/27/2020 to comply. Otherwise the above ruling goes into effect. :D

BTW: There have been no forfeits in the league's history.

This isn’t fairest solution for the Steelers, but probably fairest for most of the league and the broadcast partners. Move the the game to Tuesday night. Move the ravens/dallas game from Thurs to Sunday. Slap Ravens with a fine and loss of a draft pick. Clear losers here are the Steelers and FOX. Winners rest of the league and NBC. Sucks for us but better than moving to a week 18 where we’d likely get screwed even worse. And if Ravens situation doesn’t improve over the weekend a week 18 is still possible.

League also needs to get to work on a bubble scheme for last few weeks of season plus playoffs. I get that it wasn’t feasible over a whole season. But two months is. They can’t have the legitimacy of the season lost by a star player being unavailable in the playoffs due to covid. As soon as Xmas passes there has to be a bubble.

As far as Steelers Best Interests go I think a week 18 game is bad. You’d be playing a game while a significant portion, if not all of the remaining playoff field gets to rest.

Steelers just cancelled Friday practice.??? Don't tell their buying into this Raven scheme to buy time to get their injured [unrelated to covid19] players healthy .

Anyone know why these dozens of reports do not distinguish between players that are seriously infected with this deadly virus and those players who just happened to be in close contact.

Does anyone want to speculate on what's taking so long for any info from the nfl? Is it possible they aren't even aware of all this media fake news [well not exactly fake but distorted and misleading] and legitimate fan concern?

I mean they didn't come up with Jackson until almost Friday morning and this crap has been going on all week.
