I'll take them and Mahomes over Manning and his Colts any day, but truthfully their offense only looks dominant against overmatched defenses.Steelperch wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 3:25 amChiefs are far from unbeatable. This is the 5th game this year they looked flat.

I don't think they look flat at all. They are averaging 8 yards per play. Just have been unlucky in the redzone.Kodiak wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 3:28 amI'll take them and Mahomes over Manning and his Colts any day, but truthfully their offense only looks dominant against overmatched defenses.Steelperch wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 3:25 amChiefs are far from unbeatable. Chickillo is still in the league?
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Ive been saying this for awhile as well...bud is a huge loss but they are very beatable, and i wouldnt be shocked if someone beat them before we have a chance to play themSteelperch wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 3:25 amChiefs are far from unbeatable. This is the 5th game this year they looked flat.
KC can't run the ball in the red zone. They haven't been great in the red zone all year.....i think they were 12th in TD % heading into today. That's fine, but hardly eliteTTP wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 3:32 amI don't think they look flat at all. They are averaging 8 yards per play. Sitting here watching the Denver running game get any run they want. Then I realized I’ve seen this level of guards pulling, counters, and linemen at the second level before- it was when MM was in Pittsburgh. Denver doesn’t have nearly the talent we have up front and they are manhandling KC. After watching them run our old run game blocking it’s become clear we have a coaching deficit on the OL
Man I hate that. Get your ass in the endzone before you celebrate.

Should run the ball on 3rd down there with the thought of going for it on 4th. Bad decision to punt.
Why does Denver keep giving 30 the ball? He's been stuffed every freaking time.

Loved that play and all the crying Browns fans after.Steelperch wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 3:59 amI felt the same way watching Colt McCoy play today. I thought James Harrison killed him.

Drew Lock is hot garbage. Elway knows it.
Don’t give the ball back to Mahomes. He will win the game. Nice try, Doncos

Well, that's that. A team with a better QB beats the Chiefs in that game.

Lock stinks. So does this Broncos team but they'll praise KC for a hard-fought divisional victory tomorrow.

If we're Chiefs fans, do we now fret that we'll never beat Pittsburgh because we had to struggle with a 4-7 team tonight?

just for fun, as of right now:
Right now, your AFC wild card matchups would be:
No. 7 Colts at No. 2 Chiefs
No. 6 Dolphins at No. 3 Bills
No. 5 Browns at No. 4 Titans.
Right now, your NFC wild card matchups would be:
No. 7 Vikings at No. 2 Packers
No. 6 Bucs at No. 3 Rams
No. 5 Seahawks at No. 4 Giants

I still can't believe the Jets blew that game and the Giants went into Seattle and beat the media MVP with Colt Mccoy.
Kelce and Hill are almost cheating. There's no questioning Mahomes' talent, but when you give a guy those kind of weapons in an Andy Reid system....
Except how does anyone defend Ben's playground ball? He's about to paint his masterpiece....

The KC O-line gets away with a lot of subtle holding..I noticed quite a few times where they hold and let go at JUST the right time to avoid the call. Smart coaching. I echo the remarks of someone in this topic who said that Denver is REALLY benefitting from that O'line coach they employ..MM is missed in Pittsburgh, to be sure! I wish we could run the ball as well as Denver. WE'd beat KC going away, IMO, with the passing attack we have added in. Going to be one HECK of a game if we face them in playoffs and I believe a lot of media types are going to have egg on their faces afterwards. I don't love the guy (love his STORY, of course) but we need to have our No. 1 RB back and healthy and producing. And probably Dotson in the lineup. WE shall see as the stomach turns!
What the Jets did is one of those things that make me temporarily flip back over into believing Brian Tuohy that the NFL is scripted.steelmann58 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 4:54 amI still can't believe the Jets blew that game and the Giants went into Seattle and beat the media MVP with Colt Mccoy.

I just dont see how the entire NFL can be rigged by an evil, omniscient, puppet-master but it is difficult to argue against the notion that yesterday the Jets--whether the players realized it or not--were coached into the tank.
I thought Gregg Williams having the eighth rusher spy the RB before rushing was a really nice touch.Steeler Owl wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 2:45 pmI just dont see how the entire NFL can be rigged by an evil, omniscient, puppet-master but it is difficult to argue against the notion that yesterday the Jets--whether the players realized it or not--were coached into the tank.
Just exquisite tanking. Marvelous.

That catch and run by Noah Fant on the final Broncos' offensive play of the first half was a huge turning point. He has a blocker in front but did a terrible job of using his blocker to get by Mathieu. He might have come close to scoring a TD. Broncos would have been up by at least a TD if he gets by Mathieu as opposed to being up by 1 at half.
