Your memory is faulty.

Gradkowski played for the Raiders in '09 and ripped us a new one in that game- especially in the 4th Quarter.

Ben and Batch were injured that year- but only one game could neither of them play- the Ravens' game...Dennis Dixon had to start that game (Ben was concussed- Batch had gotten injured on the infamous Mewelde Moore sweep play against Kansas City).

Right. And I didn't list the Ravens game in the bad loss ledger for Tomlin. Thing is though, in that Ravens game, both Steeler touchdowns were scored with rolling Dixon out of the pocket, one he ran for the TD, other time he threw to Santonio. When queried why this wasn't done more often, the Brain Trust claimed fear of injury to Dixon, whereupon Tyler Palko would have needed to play. Once again...Frightened Mikey Tomlin, Scared of His Own Shadow, rather than playing balls out to win a crucial game, folds his tent. And please....do NOT blame it on Bruce Arians, unless we want to shift to The Potted Fuckin' Plant Mike Tomlin.

That's what Tomlin said.

What actually happened is the Ravens started spying Dixon and took that away.

Then baited him into an easy pick late that changed the game.

They simply stopped rolling him out.

If they were spying Dixon and made plays to stop the roll out, I could understand them shelving it.

Tomlin must have been psychic, knowing the Ravens would shut it down because he absolutely stopped calling the roll outs before Baltimore did anything to stop it.

The Kruger INT didn't come off any roll out. Just simply dropped back and threw it right to Kruger.

My memory as well.

And yes, Jeems, was the season of the Maginot Line, wherein the Pittsburgh Steeler defense consistently gave up the tying or winning score, late 4Q, when a stop would have iced the game. In this instance, Baltimore faced about a 3rd & 20, picked up about 15, went for it on 4th down, and The Fuckhead Ray Rice beat James Farrior of the first down.
