If the Rats drop the game tonight and quite possibly lose to SF at home, the Steelers could be just one game behind them with a victory over the Browns. I'm not giving up on the North for them yet.

Buffalo will be a tough test for both Steelers and Ravens. I don't think catching the Rats is in the cards, but it sure would be nice to get the #5 seed if NE gets the 1, because I could easily see Buffalo and Pittsburgh winning in the WC round. Bills have a puncher's chance to beat NE in Foxboro if Allen doesn't get knocked out of the game. Perhaps better scenario would be Steelers getting 6 seed and Rats getting the 1. Steelers first round game would at the moment be in HOU, so if they could somehow survive that, they'd go to Baltimore. Let BUF-KC-NE fight it out on the other side.

If I’m not mistaken, if the Rats lose tonight and to the 9ers, and even if the Steelers win out including knocking off the Rats in week 17, the Rats still win the division via tiebreaker. The Rats must lose 4 of their last 6 AND the Steelers win out...it’s not happening.
