Coates had a weird game vs the jets. The drops were bad. They would nearly bench most wr. Beside those he had great numbers. If he would've made all the catches he would've had silly numbers. 4 tds right?

I'm liking Coates a lot. He's outside of his comfort zone and he's responding very well, and he seems to right attitude. Nice to see these young guys on the fast track to becoming pro players, instead of the two requisite news clips in June then not a peep for 11 months.

That said I'm still holding out hope the mothership brings martavus home some day.

I usually defend nfl players, particularly Steelers, from what is often hugely bigoted and unreasonable observations on their attitude, demeanor, approach, etc etc. That said, I think its great when a huge talent like Coates buys into humility and a team 1st approach.

AB Coates Martavis would just be unfreakingstoppable. Record breaking

The pass to Coates in the EZ on the final drive of the first half (from the Jets 23)...

It was a perfect throw by Ben.

Coates stopped running then started again (while tracking the football)... the ball ate him up.

I'm thrilled he's on the team though :D

I understand they signed WR Cobi Hamilton from the PS. I'll bet he gets some snaps even if Coates plays.
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the pigeon is going to shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway.
