Am I reading that chart correctly to say the Titans will represent the AFC in the Superbowl or just beat the Pats? Neither of those are going to happen.

It states the Titans have 100% chance of playing NE in the Divisional, 14% to advance to AFCCG and a microscopic chance of advancing beyond that.

The ELO score along the left is all that matters.
Not sure the ELO analysis has been proved very good...yet.

My favorite was the poster who believes the cold snowy weather favors JACKSONVILLE.

ELO is imported from chess. One way if likely overestimates Patriots is that, as yours truly demonstrated previously, is that the Pats have received significant help from the Refs, both on play-by-play calls and reviews. In the playoffs, those are less likely to occur. Consequently, the Pats are likely overrated.

You mean this has nothing to do with the Electric Light Orchestra? I'm disappointed.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...

Obviously a much different game/sport, but he's been really good the past few years in predicting the Stanley cup champion
I think the titans may have benefited from the old additin by subtraction
Losing Murray and giving the job solely to Henry was a benefit
Especially playoff time in the cold

Fournette doesn't like playing in the cold. Says it hurts when you get hit. It' supposed to be a toasty 23 degrees on Sunday. Couple of good hits could ice that bro.
We need to erase this guy, offense will be in tough situations if Bortles is in 2nd and 3rd and longs.

No brainer.
Stop Fournette at all costs.
Make Bortles beat us.

I have zero doubts about it.
Jags 4-1 at Heinz since 2004 including '07 playoff game.
Because there are so many players on both teams that were around in 2004...
Honestly.....Jags 1-1 at Heinz over past TEN seasons.

We also need to control Bortles scrambling. He ran for 85 yards last game. I think he had more yards running than passing.

Jags 1-0 at Heinz in the last ONE season.
Like... what are we doing here?
No but seriously....steelers moved the ball well in the last game. Red zone issues (3 very short FG's) and the well documented turnovers obviously cost them. Fix those 2 issues, win game. (just odd this is exactly how the 2007 playoff game shaped out....steelers moved the ball well, lost due to turnovers and special teams...jags had 1 legit drive in each of those 2 games....again 2007 means nothing, the symmetry is just freaky)
AB had 10 for 157 against the "impenetrable duo" and the Jaguar furry curtain defense. Steelers STILL had a shot until the 4th INT when JuJu fell on his route.

When Ben was asked if he wanted to play Jacksonville to avenge his poor outing and he said yes. With no malice in his voice.
We now have a challenge uttered by AJ Bouye

Jags corner A.J. Bouye has a word of warning for the Steelers QB:
"Be careful what you wish for," Bouye said Monday, via The Florida Times-Union. "This is what he wanted, so this is what he is going to get."
Added Bouye: "We remember [the Week 5 game]. We know they are going to be motivated. We are, too. Everybody thinks we're not going to do it again. We know what we're capable of. We're looking forward to it."

boy it's light on the game discussion today.
Let's go back to week 16 where the 49ers laid on 44 pts to Jax:
Review the full 10 minute clip (wk 16 highlights, plus the Jimmy G 4 min clip)
http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/201712240 ... tab=videos
lots of the over the middle plays, quick hitters which went for big chunks. This is the key to the game for Pitt to score pts.

A lot of throws outside the pocket to underneath crossers and to the TE/H Back. Even the edge running game got going. While I don't see us running bootlegs with Ben, but a rollout away from the blitz pressure might be a staple on Sunday.

I'll be in 'our house' this weekend. Traveling with a bunch of buddies from Indiana.
I played with their Safety (Barry Church) back in high school (Penn Hills, PA). He's used to play OLB and WR in HS. Really a humble dude and proud of the way he worked his way from the bottom up.
Freaking jacked for playoff football! HERE WE GO!

Fandemonium was below normal all over the league in Oct: politics, PR, non football emotions were high. Jax may think they know what to expect, I don't think these boys have experienced crazy yet so bring a lot of it with you. Bortles can be rattled. We have to own first qtr and never look back. This is a bloodsport
